PENGARUH MODEL COLLABORATIVE TEAMWORK LEARNING (CTL) BERORIENTASI POLYA TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA SISWA DITINJAU DARI GAYA KOGNITIF

Abstract


Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh model CTL berorientasi Polya terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika, (2) pengaruh model CTL berorientasi Polya untuk siswa yang memiliki gaya kognitif field independent (FI) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa, (3) pengaruh model CTL berorientasi Polya untuk siswa yang memiliki gaya kognitif field dependent (FD) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa, (4) interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan gaya kognitif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa Penelitian tergolong eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian faktorial 2x2. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPA SMA Negeri sekabupaten Gianyar tahun pelajaran 2013./2014. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas X IPA 4 dan IPA 5 di SMA Negeri 1 Ubud serta kela X IPA 3 dan X IPA 5 di SMA Negeri 1 Blahbatuh. Sampel diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling. Data yang diperlukan dalam penelitian ini adalah data kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang dikumpulkan dengan test kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika serta data gaya kognitif siswa yang dikumpulkan dengan test GEFT. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan ANAVA faktorial 2x2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Terdapat pengaruh model CTL berorientasi Polya terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika (F=18,34; F>3,96). (2) Terdapat pengaruh model CTL berorientasi Polya untuk siswa yang memiliki gaya kognitif FI terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa (Q=5,33;Q>2,83), (3) Terdapat pengaruh model (CTL) berorientasi Polya untuk siswa yang memiliki gaya kognitif FD terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa (Q=4,01; Q>2,83), (4) Tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan gaya kognitif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa (F=0,36; F<3,96).

The purpose of the study was to determine: (1) the influence Collaborative Learning Teamwork (CTL) Polya oriented model towards students mathematical problem solving ability (2) the influence CTL Polya oriented model to students who have a field independent (FI) cognitive style towards students mathematical problem solving ability, (3) the influence CTL Polya oriented model to students who have a field dependent (FD) cognitive style towards students mathematical problem solving ability, (4) interaction between the model of learning and cognitive style for mathematical problem solving ability of students. Studies are quasi-experimental design with a 2x2 factorial design. The population in this study were all tenth grade students of IPA SMA Negeri in gianyar regency, academic year 2013/2014 . Samples were students of class X IPA 4 and X IPA 5 in SMAN 1 Ubud as well as class X IPA 3 and X IPA 5 in SMA Negeri 1 Blahbatuh. Samples were taken with a simple random sampling technique. Data required in this study is data of mathematical problem solving ability of students, that data were collected with mathematical problem solving ability test and then data cognitive style of students, data were collected with GEFT test. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and a 2x2 factorial ANOVA . The results showed that : (1) There is a Influence CTL Polya oriented model toward mathematical problem solving ability, (F=18,34;F>3,96 ). (2) There is a Influence CTL Polya oriented model to students who have a field independent cognitive style toward mathematical problem solving ability (Q=5,33; Q>2,83), (3) There is a Influence CTL Polya oriented model to students who have field dependent cognitive style toward mathematical problem solving ability (Q =4,01;Q>2,83), (4 ) There is no interaction between the model of learning and cognitive style to students mathematical problem solving ability (F= 0,36; F<3,96).
