Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah Berbantuan Media Pembelajaran Excel terhadap Prestasi Belajar Matematika ditinjau dari Kecerdasan Logis Matematis

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan media pembelajaran Excel terhadap prestasi belajar matematika ditinjau dari kecerdasan logis matematis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan faktorial 2 x 2 yang dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Kuta Utara dengan melibatkan sampel sebanyak 154 siswa. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa tes kecerdasan logis matematis dan tes prestasi belajar matematika. Data yang telah terkumpul, dianalisis menggunakan ANAVA dua jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model PBM berbantuan media pembelajaran Excel lebih baik daripada prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model PBM. (2) Tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan kecerdasan logis matematis terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa. (3) Pada siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan logis matematis tinggi, prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model PBM berbantuan media pembelajaran Excel lebih baik daripada prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model PBM. (4) Pada siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan logis matematis rendah, prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model PBM berbantuan media pembelajaran Excel lebih baik daripada prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model PBM.

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of problem based learning model aided by Excel learning’s media towards mathematics achievement in terms of logical mathematical intelligence. This research was a quasi experimental research with 2 x 2 factorial design. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Kuta Utara and involved a sample of 154 students. The sample of the research was determined by simple random sampling technique. The instrument used in this research was logical mathematics intelligence test and mathematics achievement test. The collected data were analyzed by using two-way ANAVA technique. The results showed that: (1) mathematics achievement of students who joined learning process using problem based learning model aided by Excel learning’s media was better than mathematics achievement of students who joined learning process using only problem based learning model. (2) There was no interaction between model of learning and logical intelligence on students’ mathematics achievement. (3) The students who had high mathematics intelligence, their achievement which was attained through problem based learning model aided by Excel learning’s media was better than that attained through problem based learning model. (4) The students who had low mathematics intelligence, their achievement which was attained through problem based learning model aided by Excel learning’s media was better than that attained through problem based learning model.
