Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Kalkulus 1 Berbantuan Geogebra Berdasarkan Teori Apos Untuk Meningkatkan Prestasi Dan Aktivitas Belajar Mahasiswa

Abstract


Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mendapatkan bahan ajar kalkulus 1 berbantuan GeoGebra berdasarkan teori APOS yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan prestasi dan aktivitas belajar mahasiswa. Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan berupa LKM dan buku petunjuk dosen pada materi fungsi, limit dan turunan. Prosedur pengembangan yang dilaksanakan sesuai prosedur pengembangan Plomp yang meliputi lima tahapan, yaitu : (1) investigasi awal, (2) desain, (3) realisasi/konstruksi, (4) tes, evaluasi, dan revisi, dan (5) implementasi. Penelitian ini hanya dilaksanakan sampai tahap keempat.
Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes, dokumentasi, observasi dan angket. Bahan ajar dinyatakan valid berdasarkan uji validasi oleh dua orang validator dari UNDIKSHA Singaraja. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba lapangan, bahan ajar yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria kepraktisan yang terlihat dari respons mahasiswa dan dosen serta keterlaksanaan perangkat pembelajaran di kelas tergolong baik. Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan juga telah memenuhi kriteria keefektifan dimana telah terjadi peningkatan aktivitas serta prestasi belajar mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar kalkulus 1 berdasarkan teori APOS berbantuan GeoGebra yang dikembangkan telah valid, praktis, dan efektif.

This research aims at developing a valid, practise, and an effective learning materials of calculus 1 with GeoGebra based on APOS theory to improve students’ achievement and learning activities. APOS theory was implemented by ACE (activities, class discussion, exercise) cycle. The learning materials established in this research were in the form of LKM and lecturers’ book focused on functions, limits and derivatives. The development procedure was conducted according to Plomp which consisted of five pashes, namely 1) preliminary investigation, (2) design, (3) realization/construction, (4) test, evaluation, revision, and (5) implementation. This research was implemented up until the fourth phase.
The data were collected through administering the test, documentation, observation, and questionnaire. After conducting validation based on two validator evaluation, the learning materials were concluded in valid category . The result of field test showed the learning materials had filled a practical criteria. It can be seen from the students’s and lecturer’s response; also the learning materials can be applied in the class therefor it categorized as good criteria. In addition, the learning materials had also filled an effectiveness criteria which shows the increasing of the students’ achievement and learning activities. In accordance with those evaluation, it can be concluded that the learning materials of calculus 1 with Geogebra based on APOS theory has developed to be valid, practise, and effective.
