PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF DENGAN STRATEGI PROBLEM POSING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PENALARAN DAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA SISWA SMP KELAS VII
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan strategi problem posing terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa, (2) mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan strategi problem posing terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa, dan (3) mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan strategi problem posing secara simultan terhadap kemampuan penalaran dan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Post-test Only Control Group Design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Ganesha Denpasar dengan populasi jumlah 671 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling, dengan kelas eksperimen adalah kelas VII-8 dan kelas kontrol adalah kelas VII-5. Data kemampuan penalaran dan pemecahan masalah dikumpulkan dengan tes kemampuan penalaran dan pemecahan masalah yang berupa tes uraian. Data kuantitatif dianalisis dengan uji-t satu ekor kanan dan uji MANOVA. Hasil analisis menunjukkan: (1) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan strategi problem posing terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa, (2) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan strategi problem posing terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa, (3) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan strategi problem posing secara simultan terhadap kemampuan penalaran dan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa.

The purposes of this research are to know: (1) the effect of cooperative learning model with the strategy of problem posing on students’s mathematical reasoning ability, (2) the effect of cooperative learning model with the strategy of problem posing on students’s mathematical problem solving ability (3) the effect of cooperative learning model with the strategy of problem posing simultaneously on students’s mathematical reasoning and problem solving abilities. The research used quasi experiment with Post-test Only Control Group Design. This research was conducted in Ganesha Denpasar JHS with the total of population is 671 people. Sampling was conducted by random sampling technique, with VII-8 class as the experimental group and VII-5 class as control group. Data were collected using a mathematic reasoning and problem solving ability test in the form of essay test. The quantitative data were analysed by one tailed right t-test dan MANOVA test. The result shows: (1) the effect of cooperative learning model with the strategy of problem posing on reasoning toward mathematics student, (2) the effect of cooperative learning model with the strategy of problem posing on problem solving toward mathematics student, (3) the effect of cooperative learning model with the strategy of problem posing simultaneously on reasoning and problem solving ability toward mathematics student.
