Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Pecahan dengan Menggunakan Pendekatan Matematika Realistik untuk Meningkatkan Representasi dan Disposisi Matematika Siswa Kelas V SD
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran pecahan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Matematika Realistik yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian ini melibatkan siswa kelas V SD Tunas Harapan Jaya Denpasar sebagai subjek penelitian. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berupa buku siswa dan buku pegangan guru. Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran tersebut mengikuti prosedur penelitian desain dari Plomp yang meliputi tahap preliminary research, prototyping stage, dan assessment phase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas yang diharapkan. Hasil dari penelitian menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran tersebut menunjukkan peningkatan representasi dan disposisi matematika siswa. Karakteristik pembelajaran dengan menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran tersebut antara lain : 1) pembelajaran dan diskusi secara berkelompok; 2) memberikan masalah realistik; 3) membangkitkan interaksi sosial dan rasa percaya diri siswa; dan 4) matematisasi menggunakan bantuan gambar. Kemudian karakteristik pada buku siswa antara lain : 1) memberikan siswa pengalaman belajar menggunakan representasi visual; 2) mengarahkan siswa untuk berpikir kreatif; 3) penyajian materi diawali dengan fenomena dan masalah real di sekitar siswa; serta 4) memberikan siswa kesempatan siswa berpendapat dan berdiskusi. Sedangkan buku petunjuk guru memiliki karakteristik : 1) praktis penggunaannya; 2) menggunakan bahasa yang jelas, logis, dan sistematis; serta 3) membantu guru dalam memahami konsep matematika dan cara membelajarkan siswa.

This study was aimed to develop a fractions instructional materials with realistic mathematics approach which has qualities of valid, practical, and effective. The subjects of this research were the fifth grade students of SD Tunas Harapan Jaya Denpasar. The instructional materials developed in this research consisted of student’s book and teacher’s guide book. The development of the teaching learning devices along with the research design’s procedures from Plomp includes the following preliminary research phase, prototyping stage phase, and assessment phase. The results showed that the developed teaching learning devices had been fulfilling the expected criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The results of the study using the learning device showed improved representation and disposition of mathematics students. The characteristics of the learning using the developed instructional materials were: 1) the instruction and discussion are for group work; 2) it provides a realistic problems; 3) it generate social interaction and self-confidence; and 4) mathematical in using a visual. Then, the characteristics of the produced student’s book were: 1) giving the students the learning experience in using a visual representation; 2) directing students to think creatively; 3) the presented learning topics were begun with the phenomena and real problems; and 4) gives chance for giving opinion and discussing. While, the characteristics of the teacher’s guide book were: 1) it is practical to be used; 2) it has a clear, logic, and systematic language; and 3) it can help the teachers to understand the mathematical concepts and how to guide the students’ learning.
