PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS GEOGEBRA PADA POKOK BAHASAN DIMENSI TIGA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIKA DAN AKTIVITAS SISWA KELAS X

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika berbasis Geogebra pada pokok bahasan dimensi tiga yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berupa media pembelajaran matematika dan buku petunjuk guru. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan model pengembangan produk dari Plomp. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru matematika dan siswa kelas X SMA(SLUA) Saraswati 1 Denpasar. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar validasi, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan media pembelajaran, angket respon siswa dan guru, lembar pengamatan aktivitas belajar serta tes pemahaman konsep matematika siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kualitas valid, praktis, dan efektif. Hasil uji validitas menunjukkan validitas media pembelajaran dan buku petunjuk guru dalam kategori valid. Kepraktisan media pembelajaran diukur berdasarkan observasi keterlaksanaan media pembelajaran, respons guru dan respons siswa. Observasi keterlaksanaan menunjukkan kriteria terlaksana, respon guru menunjukan kategori sangat tinggi, serta respon siswa menunjukkan kategori tinggi. Sehingga kepraktisan media pembelajaran dapat dikatakan praktis. Keefektifan media pembelajaran berkaitan dengan tes pemahaman konsep matematika siswa dan aktivitas belajar matematika siswa. Uji coba lapangan menunjukkan hasil tes pemahaman konsep siswa berada pada kategori tuntas dan aktivitas belajar matematika siswa berada pada kategori tinggi. Oleh karena itu, efektivitas media pembelajaran dapat dikatakan efektif.

This study aims to produce devices based learning mathematics GeoGebra on the subject of a three-dimensional which were valid, practical, and effective. The instructional materials which were developed in this study consisted of instructional media and teacher’s guide book. This type of research was the development of research that uses models from the product development Plomp. The subjects were mathematics teachers and students of class X SMA (SLUA) Saraswati 1 Denpasar. Data collection techniques using sheet validation, learning media implementation observation sheet, the questionnaire responses of students and teachers, as well as the learning activity observation sheet test students' understanding of mathematical concepts. The results showed a medium of learning developed in compliance with the valid, practical, and effective quality. Validity test results showed the validity learning media and teacher guidance book in valid category. Practicality is measured based on observations of learning media implementation, teacher's response and student’s responses. Implementation observation showed implemented criteria, the response of teachers showed very high category, as well as student responses showed a high category. So the practicality of learning media can be said to be practical. The effectiveness of instructional media related to test students' understanding of math concepts and mathematics learning activities. Field testing shows the test results were in the students' understanding of the concept of complete categories and mathematics learning activities of students at the high category. Therefore, the effectiveness of instructional media can be said to be effective.
