KONTRIBUSI ETOS KERJA, PENGALAMAN KERJA, DAN INTENSITAS KETERLIBATAN GURU PADA KEGIATAN MGMP TERHADAP KINERJA GURU MATEMATIKA SMA NEGERI KABUPATEN TABANAN

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya kontribusi etos kerja, pengalaman kerja, dan intensitas keterlibatan guru pada kegiatan mgmp terhadap kinerja guru matematika SMA Negeri Kabupaten Tabanan secara terpisah maupun simultan.
Populasi penelitian ini adalah guru-guru SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Tabanan sebanyak 60 orang dengan teknik proportional random sampling melalui undian. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan ex-post facto. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner dan observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan regresi, korelasi, serta menghitung sumbangan relatif dan efektif masing-masing prediktor terhadap kriterium.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat kontribusi etos kerja terhadap kinerja guru matematika SMA Negeri Kabupaten Tabanan, sebesar 53,10% dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 22,8% (2) terdapat kontribusi pengalaman kerja terhadap kinerja guru matematika SMA Negeri Kabupaten Tabanan sebesar 53,20% dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 31,3% (3) terdapat kontribusi intensitas keterlibatan guru pada kegiatan mgmp terhadap kinerja guru matematika SMA Negeri Kabupaten Tabanan sebesar 6,30% dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 9,50% dan (4) terdapat kontribusi secara bersama-sama etos kerja, pengalaman kerja, dan intensitas keterlibatan guru pada kegiatan mgmp terhadap kinerja guru matematika SMA Negeri Kabupaten Tabanan sebesar 64,00%. Berdasarkan temuan-temuan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa etos kerja, pengalaman kerja, dan intensitas keterlibatan guru pada kegiatan mgmp terhadap kinerja guru matematika SMA Negeri Kabupaten Tabanan berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap kinerja guru matematika SMA Negeri Kabupaten Tabanan.

This study was aimed at finding out the extent of contribution of work ethic, work experience, and intensity of teacher’s involvement in MGMP activities to mathematics teacher’s performance at public senior high schools in Tabanan regency both separately and simultaneously.
The population was all public senior high school teachers in Tabanan regency, with the total number of 60 teachers used proportional random sampling through lottery technique. It used ex-post facto design. The data were collected by questionnaires and observation. The data were analyzed by regression, correlation and by counting relative and effective contributions of each predictor toward the criterium.
The result showed that (1) there was contribution of work ethic to mathematics teacher’s performance at public senior high schools in Tabanan regency, with 53.10% contribution and 22.8% effective contribution, (2) there was contribution of work experience to mathematics teacher’s performance at public senior high schools in Tabanan regency, with 53.20% contribution and 31.3% effective contribution, (3) there was contribution of intensity of teacher’s involvement in MGMP activities to mathematics teacher’s performance at public senior high schools in Tabanan regency with 6.30% contribution and 9.50% effective contribution and (4) there was contribution simultaneously of work ethic, work experience, and intensity of teacher’s involvement in MGMP activities to mathematics teacher’s performance at public senior high schools in Tabanan regency with 64.00% contribution. Based on the findings it can be concluded that work ethic, work experience, and intensity of involvement in MGMP activities contributed significantly to mathematics teacher’s performance at public senior high schools in Tabanan regency.
