KONTRIBUSI MOTIVASI BERPRESTASI, DISIPLIN KERJA, DAN KETAHANMALANGAN (ADVERSITY QUOTIENT) TERHADAP KINERJA PROFESIONAL GURU SMA NEGERI DI KECAMATAN KARANGASEM KABUPATEN KARANGASEM BALI.
Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki kontribusi motivasi berprestasi, disipliln kerja dan ketahanmalangan, terhadap kinerja profesionalisme guru SMA Negeri di Kecamatan Karangasem, Kabupaten Karangasem. Penelitian ini dilangsungkan terhadap guru SMA negeri di KEcamatan Karangasem, Kabupaten Karangasem, Bali. Penelitian ini melibatkan tiga variabel bebas dan satu variabel Variabel bebas yang dilibatkan yaitu Motivasi Berprestasi (achievement motivation), disiplin kerja (discipline) dan ketahanmalangan (adversity quotient), sementara variabel terikat yang digunakan adalah Kinerja Profesionalisme Guru (Teachers’ professionalism Performance).
Desain penelitian adalah penelitian korelasi dengan teknik regresi. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 146 guru dan sampel ditentukan dengan menggunakan rumus Kretjie dan Morgan sehingga diperoleh jumlah sampel sebanyak 106 guru. Teknik sampel acak digunakan untuk memilih sampel pada penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan masing-masing satu angket untuk satu jenis variabel bebas dan satu jenis tes untuk variabel terikat. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus regresi sederhana dan regresi berganda. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kontribusi motivasi berprestasi terhadap kinerja profesionalisme guru sebesar 6,94% sementara kontribusi sebesar 26,90% terdapat pada pengaruh kontribusi disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja profesionalisme guru. Kontribusi sebesar 33,71% terdapat pada pengaruh ketahanmalangan terhadap kinerja profesionalisme guru. Secara bersama-sama, ketiga variabel bebas tersebut berkontribusi sebesar 67,55% terhadap kinerja profesionalisme guru. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa motivasi berprestasi, disiplin kerja dan kehatanmalangan berkontribusi secara positif terhadap kinerja profesionalisme guru di kecamatan karangasem kabupaten karangasem.

The aim of this study was to investigate the contribution of achievement motivation, discipline and adversity quotient towards teachers’ professionalism performance. The study was conducted towards teachers of Senior High School in district of Karangasem, Karangasem Regency especially who work as government teachers and work in government school. The study involved three independent variables namely achievement motivation, discipline and adversity quotient, and dependent variable namely teachers’ professionalism performance.
The design of this research was a correlational research with regression technique. The population was 146 students and the size of the sample was determined by using Kretjie and Morgan formulas. As the result of the sampling process, 106 teachers were selected for this study. To determine the sample, random sampling technique was applied. This research administered three kinds of questionnaire for each independent variable and one test to collect the data for the dependent variable. The data were then analyzed by using simple regression formula and multiple regression formula.
The results of the analysis revealed that the contribution of Achievement motivation, discipline and adversity quotient toward teachers’ professionalism performance was 6.94% for achievement motivation while discipline contributed to teachers’ professionalism by 26.90% and 33.71% for the contribution of adversity quotient towards teachers’ professionalism performance. The total contribution of the three independent variables towards the dependent variable was 67.55%. The degree of contribution proved that achievement motivation, discipline and adversity quotient, contributed positively to the teachers’ professionalism performance.
