EVALUASI PENGELOLAAN PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI PADA SMA NEGERI 2 AMLAPURA KABUPATEN KARANGASEM TAHUN PELAJARAN 2010/2011

Abstract

ABSTRAK

Evaluasi pengelolaan pembejaran ini bertujuan untuk mengadakan suatu kajian dan mendiskripsikan tentang kualitas pembelajaran biologi di SMA Negeri 2 Amlapura  dengan menggunakan model CIPP (Context, Input Process dan Product) dari Stufflebeam. Sampel penelitiannya berjumlah 207 orang yang terdiri dari guru biologi yang berjumlah 7 responden, dan siswa kelas X, XI IPA, dan kelasXII IPA yang berjumlah 200 responden. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik proporsional random sampling dan besarnya sampel mengacu pada tabel Isaac dan Michael.

Data yang didapat dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner/angket, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Untuk mengukur minat siswa, motivasi berprestasi, visi misi sekolah, kualitas guru, kurikulum, kemampuan guru dalam pembelajaran, proses pembelajaran dan dan sikap siswa digunakan kuesioner/angkaet. Nilai ujian nasional,  ujian sekolah, nilai pemantapan ujian nasional, dan nilai ulangan umum, digunakan studi dokumen.

Dari hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kualitas pembelajaran biologi di SMA Negeri 2 Amlapura, jika dilihat  dari segi konteks pada komponen minat siswa adalah tinggi, motivasi berprestasi adalah tinggi dan visi dan misi sekolah adalah baik, dari segi input yakni kemampuan guru dalam pembelajaran adalah baik, dari segi proses pembelajaran dari siswa  adalah sangat baik, dari segi produk, sikap siswa adalah baik.

Implikasi dari  penelitian ini adalah upaya pembelajaran biologi di SMA Negeri 2 Amlapura dilihat dari kualitas  konteks, input, proses dan produk. Oleh karena itu semua komponen yang dapat mempengaruhi  semua variabel  tersebut, bisa dipertahankan atau ditingkatkan. Untuk itu segala permasalahan yang telah terakomodasi perlu  ditindak lanjuti oleh semua pihak yang terkait seperti seluruh warga sekolah, komite , masyarakat, orang tua siswa, pemerintah, stakeholders lainnya, sehingga dapat meningkatkan mutu pendidikan.

ABSTRACT

This evaluation of learning management aims at conducting a study and describing the quality of Biology learning in SMA Negeri 2 Amlapura, Karangasem Regency by using CIPP model (context, input, process, and product) by Stufflebeam.

The populations of this research were all 7 Biology teachers and all X, XI IPA₁ - XI IPA ₄ and XII IPA ₁ - XII IPA ₄ students that amounted 474 students. The samples of this research were 207 persons consisting of 7 Biology teachers and 200 students with a proportional random sampling techniques and the amount of the sample refers to the Isaac and Michael table. The data was collected by giving questionnaires, observing, and document studying. Questionnaires were used to assess the students’ interest, achievement motivation, school vision and mission, teachers’ quality, curriculum, teachers’ ability, learning process, and students’ attitude. Document studying was used to assess national test score, school examination, school pre-examination, and final semester test. Observation was used as triangulate. The data of this thesis was analyzed descriptively by comparing the result of data analysis with the success criteria that had been determined.

The result of this thesis shows that the quality of Biology learning in SMA Negeri 2 Amlapura, Karangasem Regency in terms of the component of the students’ interest are high, the achievement motivation is high, the vision and the mission of the school are good, in terms of input, that is the ability of the teachers in learning process is good, in terms of students’ learning process is already very good, and in terms of product, the students’ attitude is good.

The implication of the findings of this thesis is the attempt to improve Biology learning quality that can be seen from the context, input, process, and product. Therefore all components that can influence and determine the context, input, process, and product variables should be maintain and enhanced. Besides, all problems that have been accommodated need to be considered and followed up by all concerned citizen, those are the entire school members, school committees, the community, parents, local governments, other stakeholders, so the quality of education can be improved.
