PENGARUH IMPLEMENTASI PENDEKATAN PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR IPS DITINJAU DARI SIKAP SOSIAL KELAS VIII SMPN 12 DENPASAR
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis Pengaruh Implementasi Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw Terhadap Prestasi Belajar IPS Ditinjau dari Sikap Sosial Siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 12 Denpasar, dengan rancangan The Post Test Only Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 197 orang yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik Random Sampling. Data yang diperoleh diolah dengan menggunakan analisis Varians (ANAVA) dua jalur melalui uji F dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Tukey. Hasil penelitiannya menemukan: 1) secara keseluruhan, prestasi belajar IPS siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional, 2) terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan sikap sosial terhadap prestasi belajar IPS siswa, 3) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar IPS antara siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dengan model pembelajaran konvensional bagi siswa yang mempunyai sikap sosial tinggi, 4) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar IPS antara siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dengan model pembelajaran konvensional bagi siswa yang mempunyai sikap sosial rendah.

The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze the effect of the implementation of Jigsaw Type Cooperative Learning Model on students achievement in Social Science Learning from the perspective of the social attitude of Year VIII students at SMPN 12 Denpasar. The study The Post Test Only Control Group Design. The sample of the study consists of 197 Year VIII students who are selected by random sampling technique. Data obtained from the study was analyzed by using two ways variant analysis (Two-Way ANAVA) with F Test and Tukey Test. The result of the study showed: 1) generally the students achievement in social studies learning by Jigsaw was significantly higher compared to those employing conventional learning model, 2) the interaction of learning model with the students’ social attitude influenced the students’ achievement in social science, 3) there was a significant difference in the achievement of students with high social attitude between students following jigsaw type cooperative learning instruction model and those who following conventional learning model and 4) there was a significant difference in the achievement of students with low social attitude between students following jigsaw type cooperative learning model and those who following conventional learning model.
