KONTRIBUSI SUPERVISI PENGAWAS SEKOLAH, MODEL KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA SEKOLAH DAN MOTIVASI BERPRESTASI TERHADAP KINERJA GURU SMP NEGERI SE KECAMATAN ABANG

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis adanya kontribusi baik sendiri-sendiri maupun secara bersama-sama antara supervisi pengawas sekolah, model kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap kinerja guru SMP Negeri se kecamatan Abang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto. Subyek penelitiannya adalah guru-guru SMP Negeri se kecamatan Abang, kabupaten Karangasem dengan status PNS yang berjumlah 112 orang, dan jumlah anggota sampel sebanyak 92 orang yang diambil dengan teknik proporsional random sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa kuesioner pola Likert untuk variabel supervisi pengawas sekolah, model kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, motivasi berprestasi dan kinerja guru. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji regresi sederhana dan regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan antara: (1) Supervisi pengawas sekolah terhadap kinerja guru dengan kontribusii sebesar 80,3% dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 30%, (2) Model kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru dengan kontribusi sebesar 80.3% dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 30%, (3) Motivasi berprestasi terhadap kinerja guru dengan kontribusi sebesar 86,1% dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 33%. (4) Secara bersama-sama supervisi pengawas sekolah, model kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap kinerja guru dengan kontribusi sebesar 93,1%

The aims of this study is to identify and analyze the contribution either individually or jointly between the supervision of school supervisor, leadership models of school principle and achievement motivation on the state Junior High School teachers’ performance at Abang district. This study is an ex-post facto research. The subjects are 112 teachers of State Junior High School at Abang district, Karangasem regency who are the goverment officers, and the sample is 92 teachers which decided by proposional random sampling. The data is collected by Likert quisionair for supervision of school supervisor, the principle leadership model, achievement motivation and teachers performance variables. Data were analyzed using simple regression and multiple regressions. The results showed that there were significant contributions between : (1) Supervision of school supervisor on the teacher performance with a contribution about 80.3 % and the effective contribution about 30%, (2) leadership model of school principle on teacher performance with a contribution about 80,3% and the effective contribution about 30%, (3) achievement motivation on teachers’ performance with a contribution about 86.1 % and the effective contribution about 33%. (4) As a whole, supervision of the school supervisor, the leadership model of the school principal and achievement motivation on the teachers’ performance with a contribution about 93,1%
