DETERMINASI ETOS KERJA, MOTIVASI BERPRESTASI, DAN PENGALAMAN MENGAJAR TERHADAP KINERJA GURU DI SMK NEGERI 1 KUBU KABUPATEN KARANGASEM

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) besarnya determinasi etos kerja, (2) besarnya determinasi motivasi berprestasi guru, (3) besarnya determinasi pengalaman mengajar guru, dan (4) secara simultan seberapa besar determinasi etos kerja, motivasi berprestasi dan pengalaman mengajar terhadap kinerja guru SMK Negeri 1 Kubu Kabupaten Karangasem. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru-guru SMK Negeri 1 Kubu Kabupaten Karangasem yang berjumlah 50 orang.Penelitian ini dirancang dalam bentuk penelitian ex-post facto (pengukuran setelah kejadian), dimana data penelitian dengan variabel bebas maupun variabel terikat terjadi sebelum penelitian ini berlangsung.Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif.Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner model skala Likert.Analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah analisis regresi sederhana dan korelasi parsial.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) terdapat determinasi yang signifikan etos kerja dengan kinerja guru di SMK Negeri 1 Kubu, dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,667 atau 66,7% dan sumbangan efektifnya sebesar 47,8, (2) terdapat determinasi yang signifikan motivasi berprestasi terhadap kinerja guru di SMK Negeri 1 Kubu, dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,527 atau 52,70% dan sumbangan efektifnya sebesar 23,6%, (3) terdapat determinasi yang signifikan pengalaman mengajar terhadap kinerja guru di SMK Negeri 1 Kubu, dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,258 atau 25,80%, dan (4) secara bersama-sama terdapat determinasi yang signifikan etos kerja, motivasi berprestasi dan pengalaman mengajar terhadap kinerja guru, dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,729 atau 72,90%. Berdasarkan hasil temuan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa etos kerja, motivasi berprestasi, dan pengalaman mengajar signifikan terhadap kinerja guru baik secara terpisah maupun bersama-sama.Dengan demikian ketiga variabel tersebut dapat dijadikan prediktor untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru.

This study aims at knowing: (1) the value of working ethic determination, (2) the value ofteachers achievement motivation, (3) the value of teachers working experience, and (4) the valueof theachers working ethic, achievement motivation and teaching experience simultaneously toward their working achievement in SMK Negeri 1 Kubu in Karangasem regency. The population of this study are the teachers of SMK Negeri 1 Kubu in Karangasem regency as many as 50 persons. This study was an ex-post facto experiment (the measurement after something happened), in which the data of dependent variable and independent variable happened before the study was conducted. It is a quantitative kind of research. The data of this study were collectedby using a questionnaires in Likert scale model. The data analysis used to test the hypothesis was the simple regression analysis and the partial correlation. The results of this study showed that (1) there was a significant determination between working ethic and teachers working achievement in SMK Negeri 1 Kubu, in which the value of the determination coefficient is 0.667 or 66.7% and the effective contribution is 47.8; (2) there was a determination of achievement motivation toward teachers working achievement in SMK Negeri 1 Kubu, in which the value of determination coefficient is 0.527 or 52.70% and the effective contribution is 23.6%; (3) there was a determination of teaching experience toward teachers working achievement in SMK Negeri 1 Kubu, in which the value of determination coefficient is 0.258 or 25.80%, and (4) the was a simultan significant determination between working ethic, achievement motivation and teaching experience toward teachers working achievement, in which the value of the determination coefficient is 0.729 or 72.90%. Based on the result above, it can be concluded that working ethic, achievement motivation, and teaching experience are significant toward the working achievement of teachers, separately or simultaneously. Therefore, those three variables can be used as the predictor to raise theteachersworking achievement.
