Kontribusi Persepsi Guru Tentang Gaya Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah, Motivasi Kerja dan Etos Kerja terhadap Kinerja Guru Bahasa Inggris SMA di Kabupaten Tabanan

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya kontribusi gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, motivasi kerja, dan etos kerja terhadap kinerja guru Bahasa Inggris SMA di Kabupaten Tabanan secara terpisah maupun simultan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru bahasa Inggris SMA di Kabupaten Tabanan yang berjumlah 54 orang. Karena sampelnnya relatif kecil, semua anngota populasi dijadikan sampel penelitian. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik sensus. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan ex-post facto. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner dan dianalisis regresi dan korelasi. Hasil analisis ditemukan: (1) terdapat kontribusi yang positif dan signifikan gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru melalui persamaan garis regresi = 3,632 + 0,961X1 dengan Freg = 23,644 (p<0,05) dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 10,30%, (2) terdapat kontribusi yang positif dan signifikan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru melalui persamaan garis regresi: = 42,481 + 0,577X2 dengan Freg = 21,662 (p<0,05) dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 11,90%, (3) terdapat kontribusi yang positif dan signifikan etos kerja terhadap kinerja guru melalui persamaan garis regresi = 18,715 + 0,816 X3 dengan Freg = 66,552 (p<0,05) dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 40,90%, dan (4) terdapat kontribusi yang positif dan signifikan secara bersama-sama gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, motivasi kerja, dan etos kerja terhadap kinerja guru melalui persamaan garis regresi =13,854+ 0,317X1 + 0,234X2 + 0,594X3 dengan Freg = 28,487 (p<0,05) dengan kontribusi sebesar 63,10%. Berdasarkan hasil temuan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat kontribusi yang positif dan signifikan gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, motivasi kerja, dan etos kerja terhadap kinerja guru Bahasa Inggris SMA di Kabupaten Tabanan secara terpisah maupun simultan. Dengan demikian ketiga faktor tersebut dapat dijadikan prediktor tingkat kecenderungan kinerja guru Bahasa Inggris SMA di Kabupaten Tabanan.

This research aims to know the greatness of the contribution of school headmaster leadership style, working motivation and working ethos toward Tabanan senior high school English teacher’s work performance separately or simultaneously. The population of this research are all Tabanan Senior High School English teachers totally 54 persons. Because the numbers of the sample are relatively small, all the population members are used to be the sample of this research. The sample was taken by sensus technique. This research used ex-post facto plan. The data was collected by using questionnaire and is analyzed with regression and correlation. The result of the data analysis was found that: (1) There is a positive and significant contribution between school headmaster leadership style toward teacher’s work performance trough regression line similarity = 3,632+0,961X1 with Freg =23,644 (p < 0,05) and effective contribution 11,30%, (2) There is positive and significant contribution between working motivation toward teacher’s work performance trough regression line similarity : = 42,481 + 0,577X2 with Freg = 21,662 (p < 0,05) and effective contribution 11,90%, (3) There is positive and significant contribution between working ethos with teacher’s work performance trough regression line similarity = 18,715 + 0,816 X3 with Freg = 66,552 (p < 0,05) and effective contribution 40,90% , and (4) There is a positive and significant contribution together between school headmaster’s style, working motivation and working ethos toward teacher’s work performance trough regression line similarity = 13,854+ 0,317 X1 + 0,234 X2 + 0,594 X3 with Freg = 28,487 (p < 0,05) with contribution 63,10%. Based on the result of this research it is concluded that there is a positive and significant contribution between school headmaster’s leadership style, working motivation and working ethos toward Tabanan High School English teacher’s work performance separately or simultaneously. By this, the three factors are able to be used as predictor’s level tendency of Tabanan High School English Teacher’s work performance in Tabanan.
