Pengaruh Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kontekstual Terhadap Kemampuan Menulis dengan Kovariabel Motivasi Belajar Pada Siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Baturiti.
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) perbedaan kemampuan menulis antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan model kontekstual dengan siswa yang mengikuti model belajar langsung, (2) perbedaan kemampuan menulis antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan model kontekstual dengan siswa yang mengikuti model belajar langsung, setelah dikendalikan variabel motivasi belajar, (3) besar kontribusi motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan menulis pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Baturiti. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan analisis varians satu jalur dan analisis kovarian (Anakova) 1 jalur dengan uji-F. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan“ post-test only control group design”. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh Siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Baturiti yang terdiri dari lima rombongan belajar. Teknik sampling yang digunakan untuk menentukan sampel adalah teknik random sampling, dari empat rombongan belajar satu kelas diambil sebagai kelompok eksperimen (kelas yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kontekstual) dan satu kelas sebagai kelompok kontrol (kelas yang mengikuti model belajar langsung) dengan teknik undian. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan menulis antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kontekstual dengan siswa yang mengikuti model langsung dengan FHitung = 41,536 dengan signifikansi = 0,000 (p < 0,05), (2) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan menulis antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kontekstual dengan siswa yang mengikuti model langsung, setelah diadakan pengendalian pengaruh variabel motivasi belajar siswa dengan Fhitung = 51,592; dan (3) terdapat kontribusi yang positif dan signifikan antara motivasi belajar siswa dengan kemampuan menulis siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Baturiti dengan kontribusi sebesar 18,9 % melalui persamaan garis regresi = 82,236 + 1,027 X.

Sampling technique which is used to determine of the sample is random sampling technique, between of the four study groups, one grade is taken as experimental group (the grade who are taught by using contextual teaching learning concept ) and one grade is taken as control group (the grade who are taught by using straight teaching learning) with lottery technique. the results are addressing that (1) the significant difference in writing skills between the students who are taught by using contextual teaching learning concept and those who are taught by using straight teaching learning with FHitung = 41,536 with significance = 0,000 (p < 0,05), (2) there the significant difference in writing skills between the students who are taught by using contextual teaching learning concept and those who are taught by using straight teaching learning, after controled by learn motivatin variable with Fhitung = 51,592; and (3) there positif contribution and significant between student learn motivation with the Writing Skills of the Eleven Grade of SMA Negeri 1 Baturiti with a contribution of 18,9 % through regression line = 82,236 + 1,027 X.
