HUBUNGAN GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA SEKOLAH, BUDAYA ORGANISASI DAN STATUS SOSIAL EKONOMI GURU DENGAN KINERJA GURU DI SMP NEGERI 4 KUTA SELATAN
Abstract
Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk untuk mengetahui hubungan yang signifikan gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, budaya organisasi dan status sosial ekonomi guru dengan kinerja guru di SMP Negeri 4 Kuta Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dengan desain Ex Post Facto. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menentukan sampel menggunakan total sampling yaitu seluruh guru SMP Negeri 4 Kuta Selatan yang berjumlah 59. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian adalah data gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, budaya organisasi, status sosial ekonomi guru dan kinerja guru. Seluruh data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner Data dianalisis dengan statistik analisis regresi sederhana dan regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dengan kinerja guru di SMP Negeri 4 Kuta Selatan dengan determinasi sebesar 53,1 % dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 29,93%; (2) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan budaya organisasi dengan kinerja guru di SMP Negeri 4 Kuta Selatan dengan determinasi sebesar 48,2% dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 21,89%; (3) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan status sosial ekonomi guru dengan kinerja guru di SMP Negeri 4 Kuta Selatan dengan determinasi sebesar 16,2% dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 3,39% dan (4) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan secara bersama-sama gaya kepimpinan kepala sekolah, budaya organisasi dan status sosial ekonomi guru dengan kinerja guru dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 55,21%.

The study aimed at investigating the significance of relationship between principal leadership style, organizational culture, and teacher socio-economic status, and teacher performance at SMP Negeri 4 Kuta Selatan. The study employed a correlational, quantitative approach with an Ex Post Facto design. The technique used for sample selection was total sampling where all teachers at SMP Negeri 4 Kuta Selatan—59 altogether—were taken as the sample of the study. The data collected for the study included data on principal leadership style, organizational culture, teacher socio-economic status, and teacher performance. All of the data were gathered by using questionnaires. The data were analyzed inferentially by using both simple (univariate) linear regression and multiple linear regression statistics. The results of the study reveal that (1) there is a significant relationship between principal leadership style and teacher performance at SMP Negeri 4 Kuta Selatan with the determination is 53,1 % and the effective contribution is 29,93%; (2) there is a significant relationship between organizational culture and teacher performance at SMP Negeri 4 Kuta Selatan with the determination is 48,2% and the effective contribution is 21,89%; (3) there is a significant relationship between teacher socio-economic status and teacher performance at SMP Negeri 4 Kuta Selatan with the determination is 16,2% and the effective contribution is 3,39%; and (4) there is a significant relationship between principal leadership style, organizational culture, and teacher socio-economic status simultaneously and teacher performance with the effective contribution is 55,21%.
