EFEKTIVITAS KEPEMIMPINAN TRANSFORMASIONAL KEPALA SEKOLAH DALAM TOTAL QUALITY EDUCATION (TQE) DI SMA NEGERI 1 KUBUTAMBAHAN
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kualitas efektivitas kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dalam menerapkan Total Quality Education (TQE) di SMA Negeri 1 Kubutambahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus dan bersifat deskriptif analitis dengan mendalami aktivitas kepemimpinan kepala sekolah di SMA N 1 Kubutambahan. Sampel penelitian adalah 50 orang. Efektivitas kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dalam menerapkan Total Quality Education dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode wawancara, dokumentasi dan kuesioner. Data yang telah terkumpul kemudian dianalisis melalui editing, koding dan tabulasi, kemudian ditarik sebuah kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kepala sekolah tidak hanya bertanggung jawab atas kelancaran jalannya sekolah secara teknis akademis saja, akan tetapi segala kegiatan, keadaan lingkungan sekolah dengan kondisi dan situasinya serta hubungan dengan masyarakat sekitarnya merupakan tanggung jawabnya pula. Hal ini dengan program-program kerja dan aktivitas kepala sekolah yang sangat evektif dalam rancangan dan pelaksanaannya, (2) Kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dalam membangun kultur positif di dukung dengan tantangan atau hal-hal yang akan diperbaiki dan dukungan-dukungan yang ada baik dari internal sekolah, maupun eksternal sekolah, (3) Efektivitas kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dalam menerapkan manajemen mutu total (TQM) di SMA Negeri 1 Kubutambahan terbilang sangat efektif. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari skor yang diperoleh terhadap penilaian kepala sekolah oleh guru-guru di SMA Negeri 1 Kubutambahan yaitu rata-rata berada pada kriteria sangat baik

This study aims to measure the effectiveness of transformational leadership qualities principals in implementing Total Quality Education (TQE) at SMAN 1 Kubutambahan. This study uses a case study approach and descriptive analytical steeped principal leadership activity in SMA N 1 Kubutambahan. The sample was 50 people. Effectiveness of transformational leadership principals in implementing Total Quality Education conducted using interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The data have been collected and analyzed through editing, coding and tabulation, then pulled a conclusion. The results showed that: (1) The head of the school is not only responsible for the smooth running of academic technical school, but also all the activities, the state of the school environment with the conditions and the situation and the relationship with the surrounding community is a responsibility as well. It is the work programs and activities are very evektif principals in the design and implementation, (2) the principal's transformational leadership in building a positive culture in support with the challenges or things to be repaired and supports that there is both internal school, school and externally, (3) The effectiveness of transformational leadership principals in implementing total quality management (TQM) in SMA 1 Kubutambahan fairly effective. This can be seen from the scores obtained on the assessment by the school head teachers in SMA 1 Kubutambahan that the average is at a very good criterion
