PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KONTEKSTUAL TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA DITINJAU DARI BAKAT SKOLASTIK PADA SISWA KELAS VII DI SMP NEGERI 12 DENPASAR
Abstract
Studi eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran ctl (contextual teaching and learning) terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa ditinjau dari bakat skolastik pada siswa kelas vii di smp negeri 12 denpasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Posttest Only Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 270 orang dan 108 siswa dipilih sebagai sampel penelitian melalui teknik random sampling. Data hasil belajar matematika dikumpulkan dengan tes objektif pilihana ganda dan data bakat skolastik siswa dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner model skala likert. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara statistik dengan ANAVA AB yang dilanjutkan dengan uji Tukey. Temuan penelitian ini adalah; (1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran kontekstual dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional, (2) terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan bakat skolastik terhadap hasil belajar matematika, (3) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran kontekstual dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional bagi siswa yang memiliki babkat skolastik tinggi, dan (4) Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran kontekstual dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional bagi siswa yang memiliki bakat skolastik rendah.

This experimental study aims at knowing the effect of ctl (contextual teaching and learning) model on students’ math competency viewed from the scholastic talent of seventh grade students of junior high school 12 denpasar This research Posttest Only Control Group Design. The population of this study is 270 students and 108 students were selected to be the sample through random sampling. The data of students’ math competency were collected by using multiple type test and the data of students’ scholastic talent were collected by using questionnaire with Likert scale. The collected data were analyzed by using two way ANOVA which is then followed by using Tukey test. this research discovers: (1) there is a significant difference in math competency between the students taught by using ctl and those taught by using conventional learning method, (2) there is a significant interaction between learning model and students’ scholastic talent level on students’ math competency, (3) there is a significant difference in math competency between the students having high scholastic talent taught by using ctl and those taught by using conventional learning method, (4) there is a significant difference in math competency between the students having low scholastic talent taught by using ctl and those taught by using conventional learning method.
