Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation (GI) dan motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan posttest only control group design, dengan jumlah sampel adalah 100 siswa kelas XI. Data motivasi belajar dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner dan prestasi belajar dikumpulkan dengan tes uraian. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan ANAVA AB dan Uji tukey. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar Bahasa Indonesia antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe GI dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional, (2) terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar Bahasa Indonesia, (3) terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar Bahasa Indonesia antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe GI dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi, dan (4) terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar Bahasa Indonesia antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe GI dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar rendah

This research aimed to know the effect of cooperative group investigation type of learning strategy and learning motivation toward Indonesian learning achievement. Posttest only control group design was applied as research methodology. This study used 100 students of grade eleven. The data of learning motivation were collected by using questionnaire and learning achievement data were collected by using essay test. The data were analyzed through two-way ANAVA and tukey test. The results of this study showed: (1) there was a significant difference of Indonesian learning achievement between students taught by using cooperative group investigation type of learning strategy and those taught by using conventional learning strategy, (2) there was an interactional effect between learning strategy and learning motivation toward Indonesian learning achievement, (3) there was a significant difference of Indonesian learning achievement between students taught by using cooperative group investigation type of learning strategy and those taught conventionally toward students who had high learning achievement, and (4) there was a significant difference of Indonesian learning achievement between students taught by using cooperative group investigation type of learning strategy and those taught conventionally toward students who had low learning achievement.
