PENGARUH IMPLEMENTASI PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK TERHADAP MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR PKn SISWA KELAS VII MTs NEGERI PATAS

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh implementasi pendekatan saintifik terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar PKn siswa kelas VII MTs Negeri Patas. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan The Posttest-Only Control-Group Desain. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII MTs Negeri Patas. Sampel penelitian dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 30 orang. Data motivasi belajar dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner dan hasil belajar menggunakan tes pilihan ganda. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis berbantuan SPSS 17.00 for windows. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Pertama, Terdapat pengaruh secara signifikan motivasi belajar antara siswa yang belajar dengan pendekatan saintifik dan siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas VII MTs Negeri Patas, motivasi belajar siswa yang mengikuti pendekatan saintifik hasilnya lebih baik daripada motivasi belajar siswa yang mengikuti pendekatan konvensional (F= 171,514; p<0,05). Kedua, hasil belajar PKn siswa yang mengikuti pendekatan saintifik hasilnya lebih baik daripada hasil belajar PKn siswa yang mengikuti pendekatan konvensional (F= 29,419; p<0,05). Ketiga, motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa yang mengikuti pendekatan saintifik hasilnya lebih baik daripada motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa yang mengikuti pendekatan konvensional (F= 108,159; p<0,05).

This study aims to determine the influence of the implementation of the scientific approach to motivation and learning outcomes Civics class VII MTs Patas. This study is an experimental study using The Posttest-Only Control-Group Design. The study population were students of class VII MTs Patas. The research sample in this study amounted to 30 people. Second, Civics learning outcomes of students who take a scientific approach to better results than Civics learning outcomes of students who take the conventional approach (F = 29.419, p <0.05). Third, motivation and learning outcomes of students who take a scientific approach to better results than the motivation and learning outcomes of students who take the conventional approach (F = 108.159, p <0.05).
