DETERMINASI MOTIVASI BERPRESTASI, KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL, DAN KOMPETENSI PROFESIONAL TERHADAP KINERJA GURU DI SMA N1 GEROKGAK

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan motivasi berprestasi, kecerdasan emosional, dankompetensi profesional terhadap kinerja guru di SMA N1 Gerokgak, Kabupaten Buleleng. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian “ex-post facto” dengan teknik korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru-guru di SMA N 1 Gerokgak yang berjumlah 58 orang. Alat pengumpul data berupa kuesioner dan dokumentasi, analisis data dengan teknik regresi sederhana, regresi ganda, dan korelasi parsial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara motivasi berprestasi dengan kinerja guru SMA N 1 Gerokgak, dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 22,22%, 2) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan kinerja guru. Adapun sumbangan efektif sebesar 6,32%, 3) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara antara kompetensi profesional dengan kinerja guru, dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 27,02%, 4) secara bersama sama, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara motivasi berprestasi, iklim sekolah, dan kompetensi profesional secara bersama-sama dengan kinerja guru. Sumbangan efektif untuk masing-masing variabel adalah; motivasi berprestasi sumbangan efektifnya sebesar 22,22%, kecerdasan emosional sebesar 6,32%, kompetensi profesional sebesar 27,02%. Dengan demikian maka ketiga variabel tersebut dapat dijadikan predictor kecenderungan peningkatan kinerja guru di SMA N 1 Gerokgak, Kabupaten Buleleng.

This study aims to determine the relationship of achievement motivation, emotional intelligence, professional dankompetensi the performance of teachers in high school N1 Gerokgak, Buleleng. This research is "ex-post facto" with correlation technique. The population in this study are all teachers in SMA N 1 Gerokgak totaling 58 people. Data collector in the form of questionnaires and documentation, data analysis technique simple regression, multiple regression, and partial correlation. The results showed that: 1) there is a significant correlation between achievement motivation and performance of a high school teacher N 1 Gerokgak, with the effective contribution of 22.22%, 2) there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and teacher performance. The effective contribution amounting to 6.32%, 3) there is a significant relationship between the professional competence of the teacher's performance, with the effective contribution of 27.02%, 4) with the same, there is a significant correlation between achievement motivation, school climate, and professional competence together with the performance of teachers. Effective contribution to each of the variables are; achievement motivation and effective contribution amounting to 22.22%, amounting to 6.32% of emotional intelligence, professional competence of 27.02%. Thus, these three variables can be used as predictors of an increasing trend of teacher performance in SMA N 1 Gerokgak, Buleleng.
