KOMITMEN GURU TERHADAP TUGAS PROFESI DITINJAU DARI LATAR BELAKANG PENDIDIKAN, PENGALAMAN DALAM PELATIHAN, DAN KONSEP DIRI GURU SMK PGRI 4 DENPASAR.

Abstract

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya kontribusi (1) latar belakang pendidikan terhadap komitmen guru pada tugas profesi, (2) pengalaman dalam pelatihan terhadap komitmen guru pada tugas profesi, (3) konsep diri guru terhadap komitmen guru pada tugas profesi, dan (4) secara bersama-sama antara latar belakang pendidikan, pengalaman dalam pelatihan, dan konsep diri guru terhadap komitmen guru pada tugas profesi pada SMK PGRI 4 Denpasar.

Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 40 orang yang diambil dengan teknik Proportional Random Sampling dari populasi yang berjumlah 84 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan ex-post facto. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner. Data dianalisis dengan regresi sederhana, korelasi sederhana, korelasi ganda, regresi ganda, korelasi parsial dan analisis kontribusi.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) latar belakang pendidikan berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap komitmen guru pada tugas profesi pada SMK PGRI 4 Denpasar dengan kontribusi sebesar 12,0% dan sumbangan efektifnya sebesar 6,40%, (2) pengalaman dalam pelatihan berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap komitmen guru pada tugas profesi pada SMK PGRI 4 Denpasar dengan kontribusi sebesar 16,80% dan sumbangan efektifnya sebesar 4,10%, (3) konsep diri guru berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap komitmen guru pada tugas profesi pada SMK PGRI 4 Denpasar dengan kontribusi sebesar 10,10% dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 6,70%, dan (4) secara bersama-sama latar belakang pendidikan, pengalaman dalam pelatihan, dan konsep diri guru berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap komitmen guru pada tugas profesi pada SMK PGRI 4 Denpasar dengan kontribusi sebesar 37,2%.

ABSTRACT

This study aimed at finding out to extent of contribution of (1) educational background toward teachers commitment to their professional task, (1) experience in training toward teachers commitment to their professional task, (3) teachers self-concept toward teachers commitment to their professional task and (4) simultaneously, teachers educational background, experience in training and self-concept teachers commitment to their professional task in SMK PGRI 4 Denpasar.

This research sample consisted of 40 teachers that were collected using Proportional Random Sampling from the population of 84 techers. This study used ex-post facto design. The data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed by simple regression, simple regression, simple correlation, multiple correlation, multiple regression, partial correlation and contribution analysis.

The result showed that (1) educational background contributed significantly toward commitment to professional task in SMK PGRI 4 Denpasar with the contribution of 12,0% and effective contribution of 6,40%, (2) experience in training contributed significantly toward commitment to professional task in SMK PGRI 4 Denpasar with the contribution of 16,80% and effective contribution of 4,10%, (3) self-concept of the teachers contributed significantly toward commitment to professional task in SMK PGRI 4 Denpasar with the contribution of 10,10% and effective contribution of 6,70% and (4) simultaneously, teachers educational background, experience in training and self-concept teachers contributed significantly toward commitment to their professional tasks in SMK PGRI 4 Denpasar with the contribution of 37,2%.
