KONTRIBUSI SUPERVISI KEPALA SEKOLAH, SIKAP PROFESIONAL GURU, DAN KESEJAHTERAAN GURU TERHADAP KINERJA GURU SD DI GUGUS VIII KECAMATAN SUKAWATI KABUPATEN GIANYAR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) kontribusi supervisi kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru, (2) kontribusi sikap profesional guru terhadap kinerja guru, (3) kontribusi kesejahteraan Guru terhadap kinerja guru, (4) kontribusi secara bersama – sama supervisi kepala sekolah, sikap profesional guru dan kesejahteraan Guru terhadap kinerja guru SD di Gugus VIII Kecamatan Sukawati. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex post pacto. Populasi dalam penelitian  ini adalah guru SD Gugus VIII Kecamatan Sukawati sebanyak 58 orang yang diambil secara proportional random sampling. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan analisis regresi sederhana, korelasi sederhana, regresi ganda, korelasi ganda dan sumbangan efektif.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan supervisi kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru dengan kontribusi sebesar 37,7%, dan sumbangan efektif 16,66%, (2) terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan  antara sikap profesional guru terhadap kinerja guru dengan kontribusi sebesar 39,0%, dan sumbangan efektif 20,72%, (3) terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan dari kesejahteraan guru terhadap kinerja guru dengan kontribusi sebesar 47,4%, dan sumbangan efektif 30,54%, (4) terdapat kontribusi yang  signifikan secara besama- sama supervisi kepala sekolah, sikap profesional guru  dan kesejahteraan guru terhadap kinerja guru dengan kontribusi sebesar 67,9%.

Berdasarkan temuan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara terpisah dan simultan terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan  supervisi kepala sekolah, sikap profesional guru dan kesejahteraan guru terhadap kinerja guru SD Gugus VIII Kecamatan Sukawat. Dengan demikian ketiga variabel tersebut dapat dijadikan prediktor tingkat kontribusi kinerja guru SD di Gugus VIII Kecamatan Sukawati.

 

ABSTRACT

 

Key-words: the headmaster’s supervision, teachers’ professional attitudes, teachers’ welfare, and teachers’ performances.

The study aimed at finding out the contributions of: (1) the school headmaster’s supervision towards the teachers’ performances, (2) teachers’ professional attitudes towards their performances, (3) teachers’ welfares towards their performances, and (4) school headmaster’s supervision, teachers’ professional attitudes, and their welfare simultaneously towards their performances at SD of Cluster VIII in Sukawati District. This study utilized an ex-post facto design, involving a number of 58 teachers from all the Primary Schools around Sukawati district, which were drawn based on proportional random sampling. All data obtained from this study were analyzed by using simple regression, correlation, multiple regressions, and correlation as well as effective contribution.

The results indicated that (1) there was a significant contribution of the school headmaster’s supervision towards the teachers’ performances with the contributing value of 37.7% and effective contribution of 16.66%, (2) there was a significant contribution of the teachers’ professional attitudes towards their performances with the value of 39.0% and effective contribution of 20.72%, (3) there was a significant contribution of the teachers’ welfares towards their performances with the value of 47.4% and effective contribution of 30.54%, and (4) there was a simultaneous significant contribution of the school headmaster’s supervision, teachers’ professional attitudes, and their welfare towards their performances with a contributing value of  67.9%.

Based on the findings it could be concluded that there were simultaneous and significant contributions of the school headmaster’s supervision, the teachers’ professional attitudes, and the teachers’ welfares towards their performances towards both separately as well as simultaneously at SD of Cluster VIII in Sukawati District. Accordingly the three variables could become predictors of the the tendency level of the teachers’ performances at SD of Cluster VIII around Sukawati district.
