KONTRIBUSI KOMPETENSI, KEMAMPUAN MANAJERIAL DAN KETERAMPILAN PROFESIONAL KEPALA SEKOLAH TERHADAP KEBERHASILAN PROGRAM MADRASAH ALIYAH (MA) DI KABUPATEN JEMBRANA

Abstract


ABSTRAK

 

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan ada tidaknya sumbangan  kompetensi, kemampuan manajerial dan keterampilan profesional kepala sekolah terhadap  keberhasilan Program Madrasah Aliyah (MA) di Kabupaten Jembrana baik secara partial maupun secara simultan.

Penelitian ini termasuk ex post facto dengan populasi berjumlah 123 orang guru yang merupakan guru-guru Madrasah Aliyah (MA). Sampel penelitian berjumlah 81 orang yang terpilih secara simple random sampling dan data diperoleh dengan instrumen kuesioner. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif, regresi sederhana, regresi ganda, korelasi sederhana, korelasi parsial dan korelasi ganda.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan siginifikan antara kompetensi kepala sekolah dengan keberhasilan Program Madrasah Aliyah (MA) dengan kontribusi 13,5% dan sumbangan efektif 2,675%; (2) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan siginifikan antara kemampuan manajerial kepala sekolah dengan keberhasilan Program Madrasah Aliyah (MA) dengan kontribusi 16,9% dan sumbangan efektif 11,162%, (3) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan siginifikan antara kompetensi kepala sekolah dengan keberhasilan Program Madrasah Aliyah (MA) dengan kontribusi 13,8% dan sumbangan efektif 3,591%, dan (4) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi kepala sekolah, kemampuan manajerial kepala sekolah dan keterampilan profesional kepala sekolah dengan keberhasilan Program Madrasah Aliyah (MA) dengan kontribusi 17,4%.

Berdasarkan temuan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kompetensi, kemampuan manajerial dan keterampilan profesional kepala sekolah dapat dijadikan prediktor tingkat keberhasilan program Madrasah Aliyah (MA) di Kabupaten Jembrana.

ABSTRACT

 

This study aimed to determine the existence of the competent contributions, the managerial capabilites and the professional skill of the headmasters  to the success of the school program of Madrasah Aliyah (MA) in Jembrana regency, both partially and simultaneously.

This study belongs to an ex post facto research involving a populations of  Madrasah Aliyah (MA) teachers that consited of 123 teachers. Eighty one teachers were drawn as the through simple random sampling and the study used quetionnaires of competent contributions, the managerial capabilites and the professional skill of the headmasters  to the success of the school program of Madrasah Aliyah (MA). Data were analyzed by descriptive statistic, simple regression, multiple regression, simple correlation, partial correlation and multiple correlation.

The descriptive statistics showed that : (1) there is a positive and significant relation between the competent of the headmasters and the success of the school programs with 13,5% contribution and 2,675% effective contribution, (2) there is a positive and significant relation between managerial capabilities of the headmasters and the success of school programs with 16,9% contribution and 11,162% effective contribution, (3) there is a positive and significant relation between the competent of headmasters and the success of the school programs with 13,8% contribution and 3,591% effective contribution, and (4) there is a positive and significant relation among the competent of the headmasters, the managerial capabilities of the headmasters, and the professional skills of the headmasters to the success of the school programs with 17,4% contribution.

In relation to the above findings it can be concluded that the headmasters competent, managerial capabilities, and professional skills of the headmasters can be used predictor of success programs grade of the Madrasah Aliyah (MA) in Jembrana regency.
