DETERMINASI KEMAMPUAN MANAJERIAL KEPALA SEKOLAH,IKLIM KERJA, DAN MOTIVASI KERJA GURU TERHADAP KEPUASAN KERJA GURU SMP NEGERI DI KECAMATAN KUTA

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya kontribusi kemampuan manajerial Kepala Sekolah,iklim kerja dan motivasi kerja guru terhadap kepuasan kerja SMPN di Kecamatan Kuta secara terpisah maupun simultan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh Guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Kuta dengan jumlah  89 orang guru. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Multi Stage random sampling menggunakan tabel Robert V. Krejcie dan Daryle W Morgan sehingga jumlah sampel menjadi 73 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan ex-post facto. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner dan lembar observasi. Data dianalisis dengan regresi, korelasi dan analisis determinasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat determinasi antara kemampuan manajerial Kepala Sekolah terhadap kepuasan kerja guru dengan determinasi  sebesar 47,1 % dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 19,1 %, (2) terdapat determinasi antara iklim kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja guru dengan determinasi sebesar 49,5 % dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 21,7 %, (3) terdapat determinasi antara motivasi kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja guru dengan determinasi sebesar 46,8 % dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 22,9 %, dan (4) terdapat determinasi secara bersama-sama antara kemampuan manajerial Kepala Sekolah, iklim kerja, dan motivasi kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja guru dengan determinasi sebesar 63,7 %.    Berdasarkan hasil temuan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat kontribusi yang positif dan signifikan antara kemampuan manajerial Kepala Sekolah, motivasi kerja guru dan iklim kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Kuta secara terpisah maupun simultan. Dengan demikian ketiga faktor tersebut dapat dijadikan prediktor tingkat kecenderungan kepuasan kerja SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Kuta, Kabupaten Badung.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the contribution of the principal managerial skills, working environment and working motivation toward  job satisfaction of Junior High School teachers  in the district of Kuta separately or simultaneously.  Population of the study was all Junior High School Teachers in district of Kuta with a number of 89 teachers. Sampling was done with multi stage random sampling technique using Robert V. Krejcie and Daryle W. Morgan tables  the number of samples are 73 people. This study uses ex-post facto design. Data were collected by questionnaires and observation sheets. Data were analyzed with regression, correlation and analysis of determination. The results showed that: (1) There is a determination among the principal managerial ability toward job satisfaction of teachers with determination by 47.1% and the effective contribution of 19.1% , (2) there is a determination among working environment toward job satisfaction of teachers with a determination equal to 49.5% and the effective contribution of 21.7%, (3) there is a determination among working motivation toward job satisfaction teachers with determination by 46.8% and the effective contribution of 22.9%, and (4) there is a determination jointly among the principal managerial skills, working environment, and working motivation toward job satisfaction of teachers with the determination of 63.7%. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant contribution among the principal managerial ability, motivation of teachers and working environment toward job satisfaction of junior high school teachers in the district Kuta separately or simultaneously. Thus the are factors can be used as a predictor of job satisfaction trend level of Junior High Schools in Kuta district, Badung regency.
