DETERMINASI NILAI UJIAN NASIONAL, NILAI TES PRESTASI AKADEMIK DAN NILAI RAPOR TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS X SMA NEGERI 2 TABANAN TAHUN PELAJARAN 2012/2013

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui determinasi nilai ujian nasional, nilai tes prestasi akademik dan nilai rapor terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 2 Tabanan tahun pelajaran 20012/2013 baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex-post facto. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Tabanan tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 yang diterima lewat jalur TPA dengan jumlah anggota populasi 332 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan simple random sampling.
Berdasarkan tabel Krejcie dan Morgan, ukuran sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 180 orang siswa. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah dengan metode regresi sederhana, regresi ganda, korelasi ganda, dan korelasi parsial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat determinasi yang positif dan signifikan antara nilai ujian nasional dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 2 Tabanan sebesar 90,80% dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 39,55%, (2) terdapat determinasi yang positif dan signifikan antara nilai tes prestasi akademik dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 2 Tabanan sebesar 81,20% dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 14,47%, (3) terdapat determinasi yang positif dan signifikan antara nilai rapor dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 2 Tabanan sebesar 88,56% dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 41,65%, (4) terdapat determinasi yang positif secara bersama-sama nilai ujian nasional, nilai tes prestasi akademik dan nilai rapor terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 2 Tabanan sebesar 95,69%. Berdasarkan temuan di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa ketiga faktor tersebut dapat dijadikan prediktor tingkat kecenderungan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas X yang diterima lewat jalur TPA di SMA Negeri 2 Tabanan.

This study aimed to finding out the determination of national examination score, academic achievement test score and school report card score to achievement in learning mathematics of the class X students at SMA Negeri 2 Tabanan in the school year 2012/2013 partially and simultaneously. This study used the ex post facto research approach. The population of this study were the whole students at SMA Negeri 2 Tabanan in the school year 2012/2013 with total amount 332 students. The sampling technique is done by using simple random sampling. Based on Krejcie and Morgan’s table, 180 students used as sample. The data obtained analyzed by simple regression, multiple regression, and partial correlation. The results showed that (1) there was a positive and significant determination of the national examination score to the achievement in learning mathematics of the class X at SMA Negeri 2 Tabanan in school year 2012/2013 with the contribution of 90.80% with the effective contribution of 39.55%; (2) there was a positive and significant contribution of the academic achievement test score to the achievement in the learning mathematics of the class X at SMA Negeri 2 Tabanan in school year 2012/2013 with the contribution of 81.20% and the effective contribution of 14.47%; (3) there was a positive and significant determination of the school report card score to the achievement in learning mathematics of the class X at SMA Negeri 2 Tabanan in school year 2012/2013 with the contribution of 88.56% with the effective contribution of 41.65%; and (4) there was a positive and significant simultaneous determination of national examination score, academic achievement test score and school report card score to achievement in learning mathematics of the class X students at SMA Negeri 2 Tabanan in the school year 2012/2013 with the contribution of 95.69%. In the light of the findings above it can be concluded that the three factors can be used as predictors of the level of the tendency in achievement in learning mathematics of the class X students who were admitted to SMA Negeri 2 Tabanan through the academic achievement test mode of student selection.
