KONTRIBUSI KEMAMPUAN MANAJEMEN KELAS, ETOS KERJA DAN PEMANFAATAN MEDIA BELAJAR TERHADAP EFEKTIFITAS PEMBELAJARAN

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis besarnya kontribusi kemampuan manajemen, etos kerja, pemanfaatan media belajar terhadap efektifitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian ex-post facto yang berbentuk korelasional dengan populasi seluruh guru SMA Negeri di Kecamatan Karangasem yang berjumlah 171 orang dengan jumlah sampel 147 orang. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan pedoman Penilaian Kinerja Guru. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan regresi sederhana, regresi ganda dan analisis korelasi parsial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kontribusi yang positif dan signifikan kemampuan manajemen, etos kerja dan pemanfaatan media belajar terhadap efektifitas pembelajaran baik secara mandiri ataupun secara bersama-sama. Dengan demikian, ketiga variabel tersebut dapat dijadikan prediktor dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran guru SMA Negeri di kecamatan Karangasem.

The study was conducted in order to find out and analyse the contribution of classroom management ability, working ethos, utilization of learning media simultaneously towards the instructional effectiveness for the teachers of SMA Negeri in Karangasem District. This was a quantitative type of study with a descriptive and correlational technique utilizing an ex-post facto design, involving all the teaching staff members of SMA Negeri around Karangasem district in a total number of 171 persons, out of which only 147 were determined as the samples of the study. While the data of the instructional effectiveness were collected by using teachers’ performance assessment guides. The questionnaires were constructed based of Liker scales. The data were analysed based on simple and multiple regressions, as well as partial correlation analysis. Based on the finding it could be concluded that classroom management ability, working ethos, utilization of learning media contributed significantly towards the instructional effectiveness. Accordingly, the three variables could become predictor in improving the instructional effectiveness for the teachers of SMA Negeri around Karangasem district.
