Determinasi Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah, Motivasi Berprestasi, dan Kompensasi Terhadap Kedisiplinan Guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Kuta Selatan
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan besarnya determinasi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, motivasi berprestasi, dan Kompensasi terhadap kedisiplinan guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Kuta Selatan. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 165 orang guru yang mengajar pada empat SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Kuta Selatan. Dengan jumlah sampel 124 orang yang ditentukan secara acak dengan teknik proporsional random sampling, menggunakan metode penelitian ex-post facto. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini berupa kuesioner/ angket. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan regresi, serta korelasi parsial. Hasil analisis data adalah sebagai berikut: pertama, terdapat determinasi yang signifikan antara kepala sekolah (X ) terhadap kedisiplinan guru (Y); kedua, terdapat determinasi yang signifikan antara motivasi berprestasi (X ) terhadap kedisiplinan guru (Y); ketiga, terdapat determinasi yang signifikan antara kompensasi (X ) terhadap kedisiplinan guru (Y); keempat, terdapat determinasi yang signifikan antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah (X ), motivasi berprestasi (X ), dan kompensasi (X ) terhadap kedisiplinan guru (Y).Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, motivasi berprestasi, dan kompensasi berdeterminasi yang signifikan terhadap kedisiplinan guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Kuta Selatan.

This study aimed at revealing the determination of headmaster’s leadership viewed from teacher’s perception, achevement motivation, and compensation on the teacher’s Discipline at SMP Negeri in Kuta Selatan District. The population was 165 teachers from 4 SMP Negeri in Kuta Selatan District. And a sample of 124 teachers was established using the proportional random sampling technique. It is also classified as an ex-post facto one. The data needed were obtained through questionnaire method. Statistic-descriptive, regression, and partial correlation were adopted for processing the data obtained. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and regression , and partial correlation . Results of data analysis are as follows : first , there is a significant determination between the principal (X ) to discipline teachers (Y) , secondly , there is a significant determination between achievement motivation (X ) to discipline teachers (Y) ; Third , there is a determination that significantly between compensation (X ) to discipline teachers (Y) ; fourth , there is a significant determination between principal leadership (X ) , achievement motivation (X ), and compensation (X ) to discipline teachers (Y) .
On the basis of the findings it can be concluded that, a significant affect of headmaster’s leadership, echievement motivation, and compensation on the teacher’s discipline at SMP Negeri in Kuta Selatan District.
