Kontribusi Kompetensi Profesional, Kompetensi Pedagogik, dan Kepuasan Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Guru PKn pada SMP Negeri se Kabupeten Tabanan.
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) mengetahui kontribusi antara kompetensi profesional dengan kinerja guru PKn, (2) mengetahui kontribusi antara kompetensi pedagogik dengan kinerja guru PKn, (3) mengetahui kontribusi antara kepuasan kerja dengan kinerja guru PKn, (4) mengetahui kontribusi antara kompetensi profesional, kompetensi pedagogik, dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja guru PKn.
Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian ex-post facto, dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 89 orang guru PKn pada SMP Negeri se Kabupaten Tabanan, dengan menggunakan teknik purposif sampling.Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah kompetensi profesional, kompetensi pedagogik, dan kepuasan kerja; sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah kinerja guru. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah: (1) kuesioner kompetensi profesional, (2) kuesioner kompetensi pedagogik, (3) kuesioner kepuasan kerja, dan (4) kuesioner kinerja guru.
Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana dan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan antara kompetensi profesional dengan kinerja guru PKn dengan kontribusi sebesar 40,5% dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 35,8%, (2) terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan antara kompetensi pedagogik dengan kinerja guru PKn dengan kontribusi sebesar 6,1% dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 2,8% (3) terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan antara kepuasan kerja dengan kinerja guru PKn dengan kontribusi sebesar 12,7% dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 3,9%, dan (4) terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan antara kompetensi profesional, kompetensi pedagogik, dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja guru PKn dengan kontribusi sebesar 42,5%
Hasil penelitian ini dapat berimplikasi bahwa kompetensi profesional menjadi faktor yang paling besar mempengaruhi kinerja guru PKn, maka para guru PKn dapat memanfaatkan waktunya semaksimal mungkin untuk menambah pengetahuan dan ketrampilan yang relefan dengan bidang studi PKn.

This study was aimed at (1) finding out the contribution of professional competence to Civics teacher’s performance, (2) finding out the contribution of pedagogic competence to Civics teacher’s performance, (3) finding out the contribution of job satisfaction to Civics teacher’s performance, and (4) finding out the contribution of professional competence, pedagogic competence, and job satisfaction to Civics teacher’s performance.
This study belongs to ex-post facto research, with the subjects of 89 Civics teachers at public junior high schools throughout Tabanan regency by using purposive sampling. The independent variables were professional competence, pedagogic competence, and job satisfaction, while the dependent variable was teacher’s performance. The study used the following instruments: (1) professional competence questionnaire, (2) pedagogic competence questionnaire, (3) job satisfaction questionnaire, and (4) teacher’s performance questionnaire.
The data were analyzed by simple regression and multiple regression. The results showed that (1) thre was a significant contribution of professional competence to Civics teacher’s performance with 40.5% contribution and 35.8% effective contribution, (2) there was a significant contribution of pedagogic competence to Civics teacher’s performance with 6.1% contribution and 2.8% effective contribution, (3) there was a significant contribution of job satisfaction to Civics teacher’s performance with 12.7% contribution and 3.9% effective contribution and (4) there was a significant contribution of professional competence, pedagogic competence and job satisfaction to Civics teacher’s performance with 42.5% contribution.
The results can have an implication to the professional competence, which becomes the most dominant factor that affects Civics teacher’s performance. Hence, the Civic teachers can use their time optimally to increase their knowledge and skill that are relevant to the Civics study area.
