Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Gambar Ditinjau dari Tipe Kepribadian Ekstrovert dan Introvert terhadap Kemampuan Mengemukakan Gagasan secara Lisan Siswa Kelas V SD di Gugus 5 Sukawati
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media gambar terhadap kemampuan mengemukakan gagasan secara lisan, (2) mengetahui pengaruh interaksi antara penggunaan media gambar dan tipe kepribadian terhadap kemampuan mengemukakan gagasan secara lisan, (3) mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media gambar terhadap kemampuan mengemukakan gagasan secara lisan siswa yang memiliki tipe kepribadian ekstrovert, dan (4) mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media gambar terhadap kemampuan mengemukakan gagasan secara lisan siswa yang memiliki tipe kepribadian introvert. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD di Gugus 5 Sukawati yang memiliki tipe kepribadian ekstrovert dan introvert. Objek penelitian ini adalah kemampuan siswa mengemukakan gagasan secara lisan. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner tipe kepribadian dan tes berbicara. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan Anava dua jalur melalui uji F dan Uji Tukey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media gambar terhadap kemampuan mengemukakan gagasan secara lisan, (2) terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara penggunaan media gambar dan tipe kepribadian terhadap kemampuan mengemukakan gagasan secara lisan siswa; (3) terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media gambar terhadap kemampuan mengemukakan gagasan secara lisan siswa yang memiliki kepribadian ekstrovert, dan (4) terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media gambar terhadap kemampuan mengemukakan gagasan secara lisan siswa yang memiliki kepribadian introvert. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut dapat disimpulkan, bahwa penggunaan media gambar memiliki pengaruh terhadap kemampuan mengemukakan gagasan secara lisan, baik pada siswa dengan kepribadian ekstrovert maupun introvert. Oleh karena itu dalam proses pembelajaran berbicara, penggunaan media gambar tepat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Selain itu, guru juga perlu mempertimbangkan atau memperhatikan tipe kepribadian yang dimiliki oleh siswa.

This study aims to (1) know the imfluence of the usage of picture media toward the ability to express some ideas orally, (2) to know the interaction effect between the usage of picture media and personality type toward the ability to express some ideas orally, (3) to know the effect of the usage of picture media toward the ability to express some ideas orally to the students that have extrovert personality, and (4) to know the effect of the usage of picture media toward the ability to express some ideas orally to the students that have introvert personality. The subjects in this study were the students of grade V in elementary school in Cluster 5 Sukawati who have extrovert and introvert personalities. The object of this study is the ability of the students to present ideas orally. The data was collected through questionnaire of personality type and a speaking test. Hypothesis testing was done by two ways of Anava through the F test and Tukey test. The results showed that (1) there are significant influence of picture media usage ability to express ideas orally, (2) there is an interaction effect between the usage of picture media and personality type on the ability of the students when present ideas orally, (3) there are significant picture media usage toward the ability to express the ideas from the students who have the extrovert personality, and (4) there are significant picture media usage toward the ability to express the ideas from the students who have the introvert personality. Based on these findings it can be concluded that the usage of picture media have an influence on the ability to express ideas orally, both in students with extrovert and introvert personalities. Therefore, in the process of learning to speak, the usage of picture media was right to use as a medium of learning. In addition, teachers also need to consider or pay attention to the type of personality that is owned by the students.
