Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Fisika dengan Setting Model Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Siswa SMA

Abstract


Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar fisika dengan setting model POGIL yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis siswa. Pengembangan bahan ajar mengacu pada model pengembangan 4-D yang terdiri dari define, design, develop, dan dissemination. Tahap pengembangan hanya dilakukan sampai tahap develop. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan lembar validasi, lembar observasi, angket, dan tes. Metode analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif terhadap validitas dan kepraktisan bahan ajar. Efektivitas bahan ajar dilakukan dengan one way pretest posttest nonequivalent control group design. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan pengujian hipotesis dengan ANAKOVA dan Uji LSD. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: (1) bahan ajar dinyatakan sangat valid dengan skor rata-rata 3,95, (2) bahan ajar dinyatakan sangat praktis dengan skor rata-rata 3,84, (3) terdapat perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis antara siswa yang belajar dengan MBAPOGIL, MPOGILBAK dan MBAK (F=82,788 dan p<0,05). Hasil uji LSD menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa yang belajar menggunakan MPOGILBAK lebih tinggi dibandingkan MPOGILBAK dan MBAK (∆µ1>LSD1=3,484>3,169 dan ∆µ2>LSD2= 18,634>3,118). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar fisika dengan setting model POGIL telah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis.

The problem in this research is the lack of critical thinking skills of students. This research aimed to produce teaching materials physics with the setup of the valid POGIL model, practical, and effectively to improve the critical thinking skills students. The development of learning materials based on the model of the development of 4-D consisting of define, design, • develop, and dissemination. Development stage is only done until • develop stage. The data collected by using the validation sheet, observation sheet, questionnaires and test. Data analysis method is done with the quantitative descriptive analysis of the validity and practicality teaching materials. The effectiveness of the teaching materials is done with one way pretest posttest nonequivalent control group design. The data has been analyzed by descriptive and testing the hypothesis with ANAKOVA and LSD Test. The research results show: (1) lesson materials stated very handy with the average score 3.95, (2) lesson materials stated very practical with the average score 3.84, (3) there is a difference between critical thinking skills between students who studied with MBAPOGIL, MPOGILBAK and MBAK (F=82.788 and p<0.05). LSD test results show that the critical thinking skills students learn using MPOGILBAK higher than MPOGILBAK and MBAK (∆µ1>LSD1=3,484>3,169 and ∆µ2>LSD2= 8.634>3.118). Based on the results of research can be concluded that the lesson materials physics with the setup POGIL model meets the criteria of valid, practical and effective to improve critical thinking skills.
