EFEKTIVITAS KONSELING BEHAVIORAL TEKNIK MODELING DAN TEKNIK POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT TERHADAP SELF CHANGE DITINJAU DARI KEMANDIRIAN BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 1 KUTA

Abstract


Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh efektifitas konseling behavioral dengan teknik modeling dan positive reinvorcement terhadap self change ditinjau dari kemandirian belajar. Penelitian ini merupakan eksperimen semu dengan menggunakan desain factorial 2 X 2 dengan melibatkan sampel sebanyak 88 orang siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kuta.Sampel penelitian diambil dengan menggunakan random sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data ada dua yaitu kuesioner self change dan kuesioner kemandirian belajar. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan ANAVA 2 jalur dan uji lanjut menggunakan uji Tukey. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan self change antara siswa yang mengikuti konseling behavioral teknik modeling dan teknik positive reinforcement; (2)terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara penerapan teknik konseling dengan kemandirian belajar terhadap peningkatan self change siswa; (3) terdapat perbedaan self change antara siswa yang mengikuti konseling behavioral dengan teknik modeling dan teknik positive reinforcement, pada siswa kemandirian belajar tinggi; (4) terdapat perbedaan self change antara siswa yang mengikuti konseling behavioral dengan teknik modeling, dan teknik positive reinforcement, pada siswa dengan kemandirian belajar rendah

This research aims at discovering the effectiveness of behavioral counseling with symbolic model and positive reinforcement on self-change viewed from the students’ learning autonomy. This research is quasy experiment with 2x2 factorial design involving 88 eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Kuta as the sample. The sample was selected by using random sampling. There are two questionnaires used to collect data, self-change and learning autonomy questionniares. The obtained data were analyzed by using two way ANOVA and further test by Tukey test. This research discovers: (1) there is a difference on self-changebetween the students who follow behavioral counseling with symbolic model and positive reinforcement technique; (2)there is an interaction effect between the implementation of counseling technique and learning autonomy on the improvement of students’ self-change; (3) there is a difference on self-changebetween the students who follow behavioral counseling with symbolic model and positive reinforcement technique for students having high learning autonomy; and (4) there is a difference on self-changebetween the students who follow behavioral counseling with symbolic model and positive reinforcement technique for students having low learning autonomy
