Pengaruh Konseling Cognitive Behavioral Strategi Self-Management dan Self-Instruction Terhadap Self-Achievement ditinjau dari Jenis Kelamin Siswa Kelas VIII SMP PGRI 5 Denpasar
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh cognitive behavioral strategi self-management dan self-instruction terhadap self-achievement ditinjau dari jenis kelamin siswa kelas VIII SMP PGRI 5 Denpasar tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini merupakan eksperimen semu dengan menggunakan desain factorial 2 X 2. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII pada Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016 yang berjumlah 698 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 28 orang siswa. Masing-masing kelompok terdiri dari 14 siswa, dimana setiap kelompok dibagi menjadi kelompok siswa perempuan dan laki-laki. Penentuan jumlah siswa perempuan maupun laki-laki pada setiap kelompok dipilih berdasarkan kriteria yang ditentukan oleh peneliti. Data self achievement siswa dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) tidak terdapat perbedaan self-achievement antara siswa yang mengikuti konseling cognitive behavioral strategi self-management dan self-instruction, (2) terdapat perbedaan self achievement antara siswa yang mengikuti konseling cognitive behavioral dengan strategi self-management dan self-instruction pada siswa perempuan, (3) terdapat perbedaan self achievement antara siswa yang mengikuti konseling cognitive behavioral dengan strategi self-management dan self-instruction pada siswa laki-laki, dan (4) terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara penerapan strategi konseling dengan jenis kelamin terhadap self-achievement siswa.Kata Kunci : konseling cognitive behavioral, self-management, self-instruction, self-achievement
This research aims at discovering the effect of counseling cognitive behavioral with self-management and self-instruction strategy on the improvement of self- achievement viewed from sex of eight grade students of SMP PGRI 5 Denpasar in the academic year 2015/2016. This research is quasy experiment with 2x2 factorial design. The population in this study were all eight grade students in the Academic Year 2015/2016, amounting to 698 students. The sample in this study amounted to 28 students. Each group consisted of 14 students, where each group is divided into groups of female and male students. Determination of the number of female and male students in each group chosen by selected from the researcher’s criteria. The data were collected by using questionnaire to know students’ self-achievement. The obtained data were analyzed by Wilcoxon test. This research discovers: (1) there is no difference on self achievement between the students who follow counseling cognitive behavioral with self-management and self-instruction strategy, (2) there is a difference on self achievement between the students who follow counseling cognitive behavioral with self-management and self-instruction strategy for female students, (3) there is a difference on self achievement between the students who follow counseling cognitive behavioral with self-management and self-instruction strategy for male students, and (4) there is an interaction effect between the implementation of strategy counseling and sex on the improvement of students’ self-achievement.
