PENGARUH KONSELING BEHAVIORAL TEKNIK TOKEN ECONOMY TERHADAP PROKRASTINASI AKADEMIK PADA SISWA KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 3 TEMBUKU TAHUN PELAJARAN 2016/2017
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) mengetahui intensitas prokrastinasi akademik siswa SMP, dan (2) pengaruh konseling behavioral teknik token economy terhadap prokrastinasi akademik. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest.Tujuh orang siswa yang memiliki prokrastinasi akademik tinggi dan sangat tinggi di kelas VII B SMP Negeri 3 Tembuku tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 dilibatkan sebagai sampel penelitian.Perlakuan berupa konseling behavioral teknik token economi diberikan kepada sampel penelitian selama 8 minggu (8 kali pertemuan). Data prokrastinasi akademik sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan buku harian. Untuk menjawab masalah penelitian data dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) intensitas prokrastinasi akademik siswa subjek penelitian ada dalam katagori sedang), (2) konseling behavioral teknik Token Economy efektif untuk menurunkan prokrastinasi akademik.Kata Kunci : Konseling Behavioral, Teknik Token Economy, Prokrastinasi Akademik
This study aims to determine: (1) to know the intensity of academic procrastination of junior high school students, and (2) the influence of behavioral counseling token academic technique to academic procrastination. This research uses experimental research with One Group Pretest-Posttest research design. Seven students who have high academic procrastination and very high in class VII B SMP Negeri 3 Tembuku academic year 2016/2017 are involved as research sample.Perlakuan in the form of behavioral counseling technique token economi Given to the study sample for 8 weeks (8 meetings). The data of academic procrastination before and after treatment were collected using questionnaires and diaries. To answer the problem of data research is analyzed by descriptive analysis of t test. The results showed that: (1) the intensity of students' academic procrastination of research subjects were in moderate category), (2) behavioral counseling technique Token Economy effective to decrease academic procrastination.
