Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD Berbantuan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi Terhadap Minat dan Hasil Belajar Geografi Siswa

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbantuan TIK terhadap minat dan hasil belajar geografi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Semarapura melalui eksperimen dengan post test only-equivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 66 orang siswa kelas XI IPS yang dipilih dengan teknik total sampling. Data diperoleh dengan pemberian kuesioner minat belajar dan tes hasil belajar geografi kemudian dianalisis dengan multivariate analysis of variance (Manova). Hasil penelitiannya adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Terdapat perbedaan secara signifikan minat belajar antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbantuan TIK dan siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran langsung, t hitung = 3,315 lebih besar dari t tabel (64:0,05) = 2,000. (2) Terdapat perbedaan secara signifikan hasil belajar geografi antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbantuan TIK dan siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran langsung, t hitung = 5,273 lebih besar dari t tabel (64:0,05) = 2,000. (3) Terdapat perbedaan minat dan hasil belajar geografi secara bersama-sama secara signifikan antara siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbantuan TIK dan siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran langsung, F hitung = 20,447028 > F tabel = 3,09. Berdasarkan temuan dalam penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbantuan TIK dalam pembelajaran geografi berpengaruh terhadap minat dan hasil belajar geografi siswa.

This study aims at investigating the effect of STAD cooperative learning model with the assistance of ICT on students’ learning interest and geography learning achievement. It was done in SMAN 1 Semarapura through an experiment with post test only-equivalent control group design. The sample was 66 eleventh grade social study students who were selected using total sampling technique. the data were collected by using questionnaire of learning interest and geography learning achievement test, and were analyzed using multivariate analysis of variance (Manova). The result of the research shows that: (1) there is a significant difference of learning interest between students learning using STAD cooperative learning model with the assistance of ICT and those learning using direct learning method, tobs = 3.315 > tcv = 2.000. (2) there is a significant difference of geography learning achievement between students learning using STAD cooperative learning model with the assistance of ICT and those learning using direct learning method tobs = 5.273 > tcv = 2.000. (3) Simultaneously, there is a significant difference of learning interest and geography learning achievement between students learning using STAD cooperative learning model with the assistance of ICT and those learning using direct learning method, Fobs = 20.447028 > Fcv = 3.09. Based on these results, it is concluded that the implementation of STAD cooperative learning model with the assistance of ICT in geography learning affects significantly on learning interest and geography learning achievement.
