PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN SAINS TEKNOLOGI MASYARAKAT (STM) BERBASIS ASESMEN KINERJA TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISTEM BAHAN BAKAR DITINJAU DARI KEMAMPUAN MEKANIK SISWA (Studi Eksperimen Pada Siswa Kelas X TSM SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja)

Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Sains Teknologi Masyarakat STM berbasis asesmen kinerja ditinjau dari kemampuan mekanik siswa terhadap hasil belajar sistem bahan bakar. Penelitian ini merupakan Quasi Eksperiment dengan rancangan Posttest-Only Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian 58 orang diambil menggunakan teknik random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan instrumen tes objektif. Hipotesis dianalisis dengan ANAKOVA satu jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : Pertama: hasil belajar sistem bahan bakar dengan model pembelajaran STM berbasis asesmen kinerja lebih baik daripada model pembelajaran langsung (FA=24,852; p<0,05). Kedua: setelah diadakan pengendalian terhadap kemampuan mekanik, hasil belajar sistem bahan bakar dengan model pembelajaran STM berbasis asesmen kinerja lebih baik daripada model pembelajaran langsung (Fres=314,967; p<0,05). Ketiga: terdapat kontribusi kemampuan mekanik (72,014%) terhadap hasil belajar sistem bahan bakar (R=0,849; Freg= 133,267; p<0,05). Atas dasar temuan tersebut, disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran STM berbasis asesmen kinerja dan kemampuan mekanik mempunyai pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar sistem bahan bakar pada siswa kelas X TSM SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja.

Abstract
This study aimed at investigating the effect of Science-Technology-Society learning model (STS) based on performance assessment towards the fuel system learning achievement in term of the mechanical ability. This study was a Quasi Experiment where it used Posttest Only Control Group Design by involving 58 students as the sample. The instruments used in collecting the data were the objective test. The hypotheses was tested by one-way ANACOVA. The result show that: First, the fuel system learning achievement who were taught with STS learning model based on performance assessment better than with the direct instruction (FA=24,852; p<0,05). Second, after controlling the effect of mechanical ability, showed that fuel system learning achievement who were taught with STS learning model based on performance assessment better than with the direct instruction (Fres=314,967 ; p<0,05). Third, there was contribution between mechanical ability (72,014%) with fuel system learning achievement. (R=0,849; Freg=133,267; p<0,05). Based on the result above, it can be concluded that STS learning model based on performance assessment and mechanical ability effected fuel system learning achievement for the students of X TSM at SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja.
