PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR UNTUK PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INGGRIS KREATIF TERINTEGRASI BAGI SISWA KELAS IX SMP SEMESTER ENAM

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan bahan ajar untuk pembelajaran bahasa Inggris kreatif terintegrasi bagi siswa kelas IX SMP semester enam, dan tujuan operasionalnya adalah: (1) mendesain bahan ajar, (2) mendeskripsikan hasil-hasil uji ahli pembelajaran terhadap isi, media, dan desain bahan ajar, (3) mendeskripsikan hasil uji teman sejawat dan  siswa,  dan (4) mendeskripsikan hasil uji efektivitas penerapan. Subjek uji terdiri dari 2 ahli  pembelajaran, 3 teman sejawat, 9 siswa, dan 30 siswa untuk uji efektivitas penerapan dengan desain pretest dan post test. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dan tes, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik descriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif, dengan hasil:  (1) uji terhadap draft I oleh ahli isi 94,81%, media 100% dan desain 91,13%, berkualifikasi hampir sempurna, dilakukan perbaikan ringan, (2) uji terhadap draft II oleh teman sejawat 97,31%  dan siswa 90,16%, berkualifikasi hampir sempurna, dilakukan perbaikan ringan, dan (3) uji t terhadap pretest dan post-test  menunjukkan nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel, hipotesis alternative diterima, yaitu terdapat prbedaan signifikan hasil belajar antara sebelum dan sesudah penerapan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan. Dengan demikian, bahan ajar hasil pengembangan dapat dinyatakan layak untuk diproduksi dan diterapkan.

Abstract

This research aimed at developing an integrated and creative English learning materials for grade IX students of SMP. The operational purpose are: (1) determining the design of learning material, (2) describing the result of validation by the expert of content, media and  instructional design, (3) describing the result of validation by colleague and students, and (3)  describing the result of the implementation try out. The subjects of evaluation were, 2 instructional experts, 3 colleagues, 9 students, and 30 students for the implementation try out. The data was collected using quetionair and test. The result of evaluation was analyzed through quantitative and qualitative descriptive technique.  The results showd: (1) validation over draft I by the exspert of content 94,81%, media 100% and design 91,13%, the qualification is almost perfect, light revision was done (2) validation over draft II by colleagues 97,31% and by students 90,16%, the qualification is almost perfect, light revision was done, and  (3) the t test over the result of pretest and post test showed, t operation  is bigger than t table.The alternative hypothesis was accepted, there was significant differences of achievement between before and after the implementation of the learning materials being developed. Based on the result of evaluation, it was concluded that the learning materials that was developed has completed the standard of qualification to be produced and implemented.
