Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Berbasis Realistik Setting Kooperatif (RESIK) Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Kelas VII SMP
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh perangkat pembelajaran berbasis Realistik Setting Kooperatif (RESIK) yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian desain. Perangkat yang dikembangkan terdiri dari buku siswa dan buku petunjuk guru. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP N 1 Ubud. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi, lembar pengamatan keterlaksanaan perangkat pembelajaran, angket respons siswa dan guru, dan tes kemampuan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Data yang telah dikumpulkan diolah secara deskriptif. Produk yang dihasilkan dalam penelitian ini adalah perangkat pembelajaran berbasis Realistik Setting Kooperatif (RESIK) yang berkualitas valid, praktis, dan efektif. Dalam penelitian ini yang dimaksud produk adalah Buku Siswa dan Buku Petunjuk Guru. Adapun karakteristik Buku Siswa adalah (1) berisi masalah-masalah kontekstual serta contoh-contoh yang disajikan merupakan masalah nyata yang terkait dengan lingkungan siswa, (2) proses pengkonstruksian pengetahuan dan penemuan konsep-konsep didominasi oleh siswa, (3) alat peraga yang mengarahkan siswa untuk mengkonstruksi pengetahuan sendiri berdasarkan masalah yang diselesaikan, (4) berisi kegiatan yang mengarahkan siswa untuk lebih berpikir kritis dalam menyelesaikan suatu permasalahan. Karakteristik Buku Petunjuk Guru adalah (1) berisi cara guru memfasilitasi pembelajaran di setiap bagian-bagian materi, (2) dilengkapi dengan RPP, (3) berisi alternatif jawaban dari kegiatan siswa dan latihan soal, (4) petunjuk guru membantu pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.

The purpose of this research is to get a valid, practical, and effective learning product that based to the Realistic Setting Cooperative (RESIC). The type of the research is design research. The products that developed consisted of student book and teacher guidelines book. This research had been held at SMP N 1 Ubud. The instruments used in this research are validation form, learning observation form process, student and teacher response questionnaire, and mathematics communication ability test. The collected data were analyzed descriptively. Result show that the products which have been developed are valid, practical, and effective. In this research product means student book and teacher guidelines book. The characteristics of the student book are (1) contains contextual problems including the examples that are oriented to real problems related to the student environment, (2) the reconstruction process of knowledge and discovering concepts, (3) manipulative used by students to reconstructed their own knowledge based on the problems that have to solved, (4) contains activities that engage students for critical thinks in solved the problem. The characteristics of the teacher guidelines book are (1) contains teacher’s way for facilitate learning in every part of material, (2) completed with lesson plan, (3) contains of the alternative answer of students activities and key answer from exercises, (4) the teacher guideline book helps the learning that oriented to students’ achievement dan critical thinking ability.
