STUDI KUANTITATIF DAN KUALITATIF TENTANG PENGARUH BLENDED LEARNING BERBASIS VIDEO PEMBELAJARAN TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR MATEMATIKA DITINJAU DARI KEMANDIRIAN BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 1 DENPASAR
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan strategi blended learning berbasis video pembelajaran matematika lebih baik daripada siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kombinasi dengan menggunakan concurrent embedded design mixed methods. Penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan rancangan Posttest-Only Control Design sementara penelitian kualitatif mengunakan penelitian deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Kelas VIII SMP N 1 Denpasar tahun ajaran 2016/2017 yang terdistribusi ke dalam 7 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Data kemandirian belajar siswa diperoleh menggunakan angket dan data kuantitatif dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes uraian serta data kualitatif menggunakan lembar observasi, angket, dan komentar siswa. Hasil penelitian kuantitatif menunjukkan bahwa: (1) prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran strategi blended learning berbasis video pembelajaran matematika lebih baik dibandingkan dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional (Fhitung = 28,36, nilai F tabel (= 0,05) = 4,03 dan F tabel(= 0,01) = 7,31), (2) pada siswa yang memiliki kemandirian belajar lebih tinggi, siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran strategi blended learning berbasis video pembelajaran matematika memiliki prestasi belajar matematika yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional (Qhitung = 2,87, nilai Qtabel (= 0,05; 1; 52) = 2,86), (3) pada siswa yang memiliki kemandirian belajar lebih rendah, siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran strategi blended learning berbasis video pembelajaran matematika memiliki prestasi belajar matematika yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional (Qhitung = 8,41, nilai Qtabel (0,05;1;52) = 2,86), (4) tidak ada interaksi antara penerapan strategi blended learning berbasis video pembelajaran matematika dan kemandirian belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa (FAB hitung = 6,83, nilai Ftabel( 0,05) = 4,03 dan Ftabel (0,01)= 7,31). Hal ini didukung oleh temuan – temuan selama pelaksanaan pembelajaran yaitu (1) prestasi belajar matematikayang lebih tinggi pada pembelajaran blended learning, (2) kepercayaan diri siswa yang tinggi dalam mengemukakan pendapat pada pembelajaran blended learning, (3) komunikasi dalam pembelajaran blended learning menjadi lebih terarah, (4) kemandirian siswa dalam mencari informasi terkait materi pembelajaran

This research aimed at determining whether the students mathematics achievement who take the blended learning based on video learning is better than the students who take the conventional learning. The type of this research is combined with concurrent embedded design using mixed methods. The quantitative research was a Post Test Only Control Group Design and the qualitative uses descriptive research. The population of this research were students in grade VIII of SMPN 1 Denpasar in academic year 2016/2017 that divided into seven classes. Two classes were selected as sample taken by using cluster random sampling technique. The data of this quantitative research were gathered by essay test and qualitative data using observation sheet, questionnaire and comment of the students. The results of quantitative research showed that: (1) the mathematics achievement of students who take the blended learning based on video learning is better than the mathematics achievement of students who take conventional learning (Fhitung = 28.36, the value of F tabel (= 0,05) = 4,03 and Ftable(= 0,01) = 7,31), (2) the students who have the independence of higher learning, mathematics achievement of students who take the blended learning based on video learning is better than students who take conventional learning (Qhitung = 2,87, the value Qtable (= 0,05; 1; 52) = 2,86), (3) the students who have the independence of lower learning, mathematics achievement of students who take the blended learning based on video learning is better than the students who take the conventional learning (Qhitung = 8,41, the value Qtable (0,05;1;52) = 2,86), (4) there is no interaction between the application of blended learning based on video learning and independence learning with mathematics achievement (FAB hitung = 6,83, the value of Ftable(0,05) = 4,03 and Ftable (0,01)= 7,31). This is supported by the findings during the implementation of learning, namely (1) the achievement of learning higher mathematics learning blended learning, (2) confidence high student in expressing opinions on the learning blended learning, (3) communication in the learning blended learning into more focused, (4) the independence of the students in finding information related learning materials
