PERENCANAAN STRATEGIS SISTEM INFORMASI DI KAMPUS STIMIK STIKOM BALI

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menyusun suatu masterplan/roadmap SI/TI STMIK STIKOM Bali agar dapat mendukung strategi bersaing dengan perguruan tinggi lainnya, serta dapat mendukung terwujudnya visi dan misi dari organisasi.
Perencanaan strategis untuk sistem informasi adalah untuk menentukan sistem informasi yang dibutuhkan dalam mendukung strategi bisnis, sehingga strategi berkosentrasi untuk mengindentifikasi informasi yang dibutuhkan dan memastikan bahwa sistem informasi selaras dengan strategi bisnis memerlukan perencanaan strategis untuk meningkatkan persaingan di dunia bisnis kampus. Penelitian dilakukan bersifat Kualitatif, yaitu penelitian yang bermaksud untuk memahami fenomena tentang apa yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian dengan cara deskripsi pada suatu konteks khusus dengan memanfaatkan berbagai metode alamiah. Subjek penelitian disini adalah departemen – departemen yang merupakan satu wadah dari tempat dilakukannya penelitian yaitu Manajemen STIMIK STIKOM Bali. Informan dalam penelitian kualitatif menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu cara penentuan informan yang ditetapkan secara sengaja atas dasar kriteria atau pertimbangan tertentu.
Metode yang digunakan adalah ward and peppard, serta menggunakan analisis data menggunakan SWOT, PEST, value chain, five forces, critical success factor. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa portfolio perencanaan strategis sistem informasi STIMIK STIKOM Bali yang dapat digunakan sebagai acuan untuk meningkatkan persaingan dalam bisnis kampus selama 4 tahun ke depan.

The purpose of this research is to arrange a master plan/roadmap SI/TI STMIK STIKOM Bali in order to be able to support the competition strategy with other university and also to support the formed of organization vision and mission. Strategic Planning for information system is to determine the information system which is needed to support the business strategy so that the concentration strategy can identify the necessary information, and to make sure that the information system has been deal with and the business strategy to increase the competition in university business. This research is done qualitatively: it means the research can be used to understand the problem found by the research subject descriptively in special contexts by using the artless methods. The Subject research is the departments where the research is done that is under the management of STIMIK STIKOM Bali. The informant of this qualitative research used purposive sampling technique , that is the technique of determine the informant intentionally based on certain criteria or certain consideration.
The method which is used is ward and peppard and using the data analysis SWOT, PEST, value chain, five forces, critical success factor. The result of this research is form of portfolio information system planning strategic of The STIMIK STIKOM Bali, which can be used as reference to increase the competition in university business for the next four years.
