KONTRIBUSI KEPEMIMPINAN SITUASIONAL KEPALA SEKOLAH, PENDEKATAN SUPERVISI AKADEMIK KEPALA SEKOLAH, DAN MOTIVASI BERPRESTASI GURU TERHADAP KINERJA GURU PNS PADA SMP NEGERI DI KECAMATAN GEROKGAK
Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki kontribusi kepemimpinan situasional kepala sekolah, pendekatan supervisi akademik dan motivasi berprestasi, terhadap kinerja guru PNS pada SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Gerokgak, Kabupaten Buleleng. Penelitian ini dilangsungkan terhadap guru PNS pada SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Buleleng, Kabupaten Buleleng, Bali. Penelitian ini melibatkan tiga variabel bebas dan satu variabel Variabel bebas yang dilibatkan yaitu kepemimpinan situasional (situasional leadership), pendekatan supervisi akademik (supervision approaches) dan Motivasi Berprestasi (achievement motivation), sementara variabel terikat yang digunakan adalah Kinerja Guru (Teachers’ professionalism Performance). Desain penelitian adalah penelitian korelasi untuk mengetahui korelasi antara variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat. Penelitian ini melibatkan sampel sebanyak 97 orang guru PNS yang tersebar pada SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Gerokgak. Analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah regresi ganda dan parsial. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kontribusi kepemimpinan situasional terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 6,33% sementara kontribusi pendekatan supervisi akademik terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 29,22% dan kontribusi motivasi berprestasi guru terhadap kinerja guru sebesar4,64%. Secara bersama-sama, ketiga variabel bebas tersebut berkontribusi sebesar 40,2% terhadap kinerja guru. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa kepemimpinan situasional kepala sekolah, pendekatan supervisi akademik dan motivasi berprestasi guru berkontribusi secara positif terhadap kinerja guru PNS pada SMP Negeri di kecamatan Gerokgak Kabupaten Buleleng.

The aim of this study was conducted to investigate the contribution of situational leadership, supervision academic approaches and achievement motivation towards teachers’ performance. The study was conducted towards teachers of Junior High School in district of Gerokgak, Buleleng Regency especially who work as government teachers and work in public school. The study involved three independent variables namely situational leadership, supervision academic approaches and achievement motivation and dependent variable namely teachers’ performance. The design of this research was a correlational research. The population of this research was 97 teachers of Junior High School in district of Gerokgak, Buleleng Regency, especially who work as government teachers and work in public school. The data were then analyzed by using regression formula and partial formula. The results of the analysis revealed that the contribution of situational leadership toward teachers’ performance was 6.33%. While supervision academic approaches contributed towards teachers’ performance was 29.22% and 4.64% for the contribution of achievement motivations’ teachers towards teachers’ performance. The total contribution of the three independent variables towards the dependent variable was 40,2%. The degree of contribution proved that situational leadership, supervision academic approaches and achievement motivation , contributed positively to the teachers’ performance.
