HUBUNGAN ANTARA GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN, KOMPETENSI MANAJERIAL KEPALA SEKOLAH, DAN BUDAYA ORGANISASI, TERHADAP MOTIVASI KERJA GURU SMP NEGERI SE-KECAMATAN BUSUNGBIU

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan gaya kepemimpinan, kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah dan budaya organisasi terhadap motivasi kerja guru di SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Busungbiu. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian “ex-post facto” dengan jumlah sampel 78 orang. Alat pengumpul data berupa kuesioner dan dokumentasi, analisis data dengan teknik regresi sederhana, regresi ganda, dan korelasi parsial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap motivasi kerja guru dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,344 dan sumbangan efektifnya sebesar 14,12%, 2) terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan antara kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah terhadap motivasi kerja guru dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,295 dan sumbangan efektifnya sebesar 21,72%, 3) terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan antara budaya organisasi terhadap motivasi kerja guru dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,220 dan sumbangan efektifnya sebesar 15,36%, 4) secara bersama sama, terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah, dan budaya organisasi terhadap motivasi kerja guru dengan koefisien korelasi ganda sebesar 0,715 dan kontribusinya sebesar 51,2% terhadap motivasi kerja guru di SD di SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Busungbiu.

This study aimed to determine the relationship of leadership style, the principal managerial competence and organizational culture on work motivation of teachers in Secondary Schools throughout District of Busungbiu. This research is "ex-post facto" with a sample of 78 people. Data collection tool was a questionnaire and documentation, analysis of data with simple regression techniques, multiple regression, and partial correlation. The results showed that: 1) there is a significant contribution between principal leadership style to the work motivation of teachers with a correlation coefficient of 0.344 and the effective contribution of 14.12%, 2) there is a significant contribution between managerial competence principals on work motivation of teachers with correlation coefficient of 0.295 and the effective contribution of 21.72%, 3) there is a significant contribution of organizational culture on work motivation of teachers with a correlation coefficient of 0.220 and the effective contribution of 15.36%, 4) are together, there is a significant contribution between leadership style of the principal, the principal managerial competence, and organizational culture on work motivation of teachers with multiple correlation coefficient of 0.715 and a contribution of 51.2% to the work motivation of teachers in primary schools in SMP se-District of Busungbiu
