PENGARUH METODE PEMBELAJARAN INKUIRI TERBIMBING (GUIDED INQUIRY) BERBANTUAN MEDIA MIND MAPPING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA DITINJAU DARI MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 12 DENPASAR TAHUN AJARAN 2014/2015
Abstract
Studi eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran guided inquiry berbantuan media mind mapping terhadaphasil belajar ipa ditinjau dari motivasi belajar siswa kelas vii smp negeri 12 denpasar tahun ajaran 2014/2015 Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Posttest Only Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 270 orang dan 105 siswa dipilih sebagai sampel penelitian melalui teknik random sampling. Data hasil belajar IPA siswa dikumpulkan dengan objektif pilihan ganda dan data motivasi belajar siswa dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner model skala likert. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara statistik dengan ANAVA AB yang dilanjutkan dengan uji Tukey. Temuan penelitian ini adalah; (1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA antara yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model guided inquiry berbantuan media mind mapping dengan model pembelajaran konvensional, (2) terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran dan motivasi siswa terhadap hasil belajar mata pelajaran IPA, (3) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar mata pelajaran IPA antara yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan mind mapping dan pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa yang memiliki motivasi tinggi, (4) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar mata pelajaran IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan mind mapping dan konvensional pada siswa yang memiliki motivasi rendah.

This experimental study aims at knowing the effect of guided inquiry learning with mind mapping assisted students’ science competency viewed from the motivation of seventh grade students of junior high school 12 denpasar in academic year 2014/2015. This research Posttest Only Control Group Design. The population of this study is 270 students and 105 students were selected to be the sample through random sampling. The data of students’ science competency were collected by using multiple choice type test and the data of students’ motivation were collected by using questionnaire with Likert scale. The collected data were analyzed by using two way ANOVA which is then followed by using Tukey test. this research discovers: (1) there is a significant difference in science competency between the students taught by using guided inquiry with mind mapping assisted and those taught by using conventional learning method, (2) there is a significant interaction between learning model and students’ motivation level on students’ science competency, (3) there is a significant difference in science competency between the students having high motivation taught by using guided inquiry and those taught by using conventional learning method, (4) there is a significant difference in science competency between the students having low motivation taught by using guided inquiry and those taught by using conventional learning method.
