DETERMINASI PERILAKU KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA SEKOLAH, IKLIM KERJA SEKOLAH DAN MOTIVASI BERPRESTASI GURU TERHADAP KINERJA GURU (STUDI PADA PARA GURU PNS SMP NEGERI DI KECAMATAN TABANAN)

Abstract

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis hubungan antara perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, iklim kerja sekolah dan motivasi berprestasi guru, baik secara sendiri-sendiri maupun secara bersama-sama dengan kinerja guru PNS pada SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Tabanan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex post facto dengan melibatkan sampel sebanyak 198 guru PNS pada SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Tabanan. Pengambilan sampel penelitian dengan menggunakan teknik propotional random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah : kuesioner perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, kuesioner iklim kerja sekolah, kuesioner motivasi berprestasi guru dan kuesioner kinerja guru.

Dari hasil analisis ditemukan :  (1) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dengan kinerja guru PNS pada SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Tabanan, (2) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara iklim kerja sekolah dengan kinerja guru PNS pada SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Tabanan, (3) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara motivasi berprestasi guru dengan kinerja guru PNS pada SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Tabanan, dan (4) secara bersama-sama terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, iklim kerja sekolah dan motivasi berprestasi guru terhadap kinerja guru PNS pada SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Tabanan.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diharapkan kepala sekolah dapat meningkatkan perilaku kepemimpinannya, memperbaiki iklim kerja sekolah dan meningkatkan motivasi berprestasi guru yang dipimpinnya sehingga kinerja guru menjadi lebih optimal.

ABSTRACT

This study aims to determine and analyze the relationship between principal leadership behavior, work climate and school achievement motivation of teachers, either individually or jointly with the performance of civil service teachers in Secondary Schools in the district of Tabanan. This study is an ex post facto study involving a sample of 198 civil servants in Junior High School teacher in the district of Tabanan. Sampling studies using proportional random sampling technique. Instruments used to collect data are: principal leadership behavior questionnaire, the questionnaire of the school climate, achievement motivation, teacher questionnaires and teacher performance questionnaires.

From the analysis found: (1) there is a significant relationship between principal leadership behavior with the performance of civil service teachers in Secondary Schools in the district of Tabanan, (2) there is a significant relationship between the climate of the school with the performance of civil service teachers in Secondary Schools in Tabanan district, (3) there is a significant relationship between achievement motivation of teachers to the performance of civil service teachers at junior High School in Tabanan district, and (4) together are significant relationship between principal leadership behavior, work climate school achievement and motivation of teachers to the performance of civil service teachers in Secondary Schools in the district of Tabanan.

Based on the results of this study is expected to increase the principal's leadership behavior, improving school climate and enhance work achievement motivation of teachers so that they lead to more optimal performance of teachers
