HUBUNGAN KETERAMPILAN MANAJERIAL KEPALA SEKOLAH, KOMUNIKASI ORGANISASI, DAN IKLIM ORGANISASI DENGAN KEEFEKTIFAN ORGANISASI SEKOLAH DASAR DI GUGUS MAYOR METRA, KECAMATAN DENPASAR UTARA
Abstract
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis: (1) hubungan antara keterampilan manajerial kepala sekolah dengan keefektifan organisasi, (2) hubungan antara komunikasi organisasi dengan keefektifan organsiasi, (3) hubungan antara iklim organisasi dengan keefektifan organisasi, dan (4) secara simultan antara keterampilan manajerial kepala sekolah, komunikasi organisasi dan iklim organisasi dengan keefektifan organisasi.
Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rancangan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian ex post facto. Populasi penelitian ini adalah guru-guru tetap yang berstatus Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) dan guru tetap yang berstatus guru swasta Sekolah Dasar di Gugus Mayor Metra, Kecamatan Denpasar Utara yang berjumlah 155 orang, sedangkan jumlah sampel 110 orang yang diambil secara random dari jumlah populasi. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik stratified proportional random sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner keterampilan manajerial kepala sekolah, komunikasi organisasi, iklim organisasi, dan keefektifan organisasi dengan skala Likert. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Pengujian hipotesis pertama, kedua, dan ketiga menggunakan teknik analisis korelasi sederhana dan korelasi parsial, sedangkan pengujian hipotesis keempat menggunakan teknik analisis regresi ganda dan korelasi parsial.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara keterampilan manajerial kepala sekolah dengan keefektifan organisasi dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 15,70%, (2) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara komunikasi organisasi dengan keefektifan organisasi dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 18,81%, (3) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara iklim organisasi dengan keefektifan organisasi dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 17,69%, (4) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan secara simultan antara keterampilan manajerial kepala sekolah, komunikasi organisasi, dan iklim organisasi dengan keefektifan organisasi dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 52,20%.
Berdasarkan temuan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara keterampilan manajerial kepala sekolah, komunikasi organisasi, dan iklim organisasi dengan keefektifan organisasi, baik secara terpisah maupun simultan. Dengan demikian, ketiga faktor tersebut dapat dijadikan prediktor tingkat keefektifan organisasi Sekolah Dasar di Gugus Mayor Metra, Kecamatan Denpasar Utara.

ABSTRACT
The study aimed at describing and analysing the correlation between: (1) the school headmaster’s managerial skills and organizational effectiveness, (2) organization communication and organizational effectiveness, (3) organization climate and organizational effectiveness, (4) the school headmaster’ managerial skills, organization communication, organization climate and the organizational effectiveness simultaneously.
The study was conducted at the SD of “Mayor Metra” Cluster around North Denpasar district utilizing an ex-post facto approach with quantitative design, involving a number of 155 government officials as well as private school teachers. A total of 110 of samples were determined based on stratified proportional random sampling. The data were collected by using questionnaires of managerial skills, organization communication, organization climate and organizational effectiveness with Liker scales model. The analysis was made based on descriptive and inferential statistics. The first, second, and third hypothesis testing were conducted by using simple and partial correlation techniques, while the fourth was made based on multiple regression and partial correlation.
The results indicated that: (1) there was a significant correlation betweenthe school headmaster’s managerial skills and organizational effectiveness with effective contribution of 15.70%, (2) there was a significant correlation between organization communication and organizational effectiveness with effective contribution of 18.81%, (3) there was a significant correlation betweenorganization climate and organizational effectiveness with effective contribution of 17.69%, (4) there was a significant simultaneous correlation between the school headmaster’ managerial skills, organization communication, organization climate and the organizational effectiveness with effective contribution of 52.20%.
Based on the findings it could be concluded that there was a significant correlation between the school headmaster’ managerial skills, organization communication, organization climate and the organizational effectiveness both separately and simultaneously at SD in the “Mayor Metra” Cluster in North Denpasar District.
