KONTRIBUSI TINGKAT INTELIGENSI, NILAI UJIAN NASIONAL BAHASA INGGRIS SMP, MINAT BELAJAR BAHASA INGGRIS TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR BAHASA INGGRIS SISWA KELAS X SMA NEGERI 2 AMLAPURA TAHUN PELAJARAN 2012/2013
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan besarnya kontribusi beberapa variabel (1) tingkat inteligensi terhadap prestasi belajar bahasa Inggris (2) nilai ujian nasional bahasa Inggris SMP terhadap prestasi belajar bahasa Inggris , (3) minat belajar bahasa Inggris terhadap prestasi belajar bahasa Inggris, dan (4) kontribusi secara bersama-sama dari tingkat inteligensi, nilai Ujian Nasional bahasa Inggris SMP dan minat belajar bahasa Inggris terhadap prestasi belajar bahasa Inggris siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Amlapura tahun pelajaran 2012/2013.Populasi penelitian ini g berjumlah 224 dan sampel 140 orang menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian ex-post facto. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan analisis regresi . Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tingkat inteligensi, nilai Ujian Nasional bahasa Inggris SMP, dan minat belajar bahasa Inggris berkontribusi signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar Inggris siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Amlapura pada tahun pelajaran 2012/2013, baik secara terpisah maupun simultan.

This research aims at finding out the contribution of (1) intelligence level, (2) SMP national final English examination score, (3) students’ learning interest and (4) intelligence level, SMP national final English examination score, and students’ learning interest toward the students’learning acheivement on English both separately and simultaneously.
The study was conducted in SMA Negeri 2 Amlapura in academic year 2012/2013. The population consisted of X grade students which made total of 224 students. 140 students were determined as samples of the study by using simple random sampling technique. This study was designed by using ex post facto. The data were collected through documentations and questionnaires. The Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and regression analysis
The findings showed that : (1) the intelligence level contributes significantly toward the English students’ learning achievement with contribution of 74%, (2) the SMP national final English examination contributes significantly toward the English students’ learning achievement with contribution of 27,2 %, (3) The students’ learning interest contributes significantly toward the English students’learning achievement with contribution of 50,7 %, (4) The intelligence level, national final English examination, and students learning interest contributes both separately and simultaneously toward the English students’ learning achievement with contribution of 82%.
