NILAI-NILAI KARAKTER BANGSA DALAM MATERI TEKS CERITA FABEL MATA PELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA KELAS VIII SEMESTER I
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui nilai-nilai karakter bangsa dalam materi teks fabel mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas VIII semester I dan (2) mengetahui frekuensi nilai-nilai karakter bangsa dalam materi teks fabel mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas VIII semester I. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah buku bahasa Indonesia kelas VIII. Objek penelitian ini adalah nilai-nilai karakter bangsa dan frekuensi nilai-nilai karakter bangsa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) nilai-nilai karakter bangsa dalam materi teks fabel ada 11, yaitu jujur, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, rasa ingin tahu, menghargai prestasi, cinta damai, bersahabat/komunikatif, peduli sosial, dan tanggung jawab (2) frekuensi nilai-nilai karakter bangsa dalam materi teks fabel lebih rendah dibandingkan nilai-nilai karakter bangsa yang tidak terdapat dalam materi teks fabel. Berdasarkan frekuensi data nilai karakter bangsa dalam materi teks fabel, menempatkan Paman Belalang dan Perahunya sebagai peringkat tertinggi, sedangkan Kelinci Sang Penakluk sebagai peringkat terendah. Nilai karakter bangsa paling dominan adalah jujur, sedangkan yang paling sedikit adalah kerja keras dan cinta damai. Berdasarkan nilai-nilai karakter bangsa terbanyak dari masing-masing fabel, menempatkan Paman Belalang dan Perahunya dan Landak yang Kesepian pada peringkat teratas, sedangkan Kelinci Sang Penakluk pada peringkat terendah.

The purposes of this research are (1) knowing the values of nation’s character on fables subjects matter Indonesian for first semester on eight grade and (2) knowing the frequency values of nation character fable subjects matter Indonesian for first semester on eighth grade. This research categorized on descriptive qualitative. The subject of this research is eighth grade’s Indonesian book. The object of this research is the values of nation’s character and frequency values of nation’s character. The collecting data method that used in is documentation method. The result of this research shows that (1) There are 11 values of nation’s character in fables subjects, they are honest, discipline, hard work, creative, autonomous, curiousity, appreciate the achievement, love the peace, friendly/comunitative, social care, and responsible (2) The frequency values of nation’s character that be found on fables subject is lower than the values of nation’s character that do not included in fables subject. Based on the frequency of data in fables subject, ranked Paman Belalang dan Perahunya as the highest ratings, while Kelinci Sang Penakluk as the the lowest ratings. The most dominant values of nation’s character is the value of honest character, while the least are the value of hard work character and the value of love peace character. Based on the values of nation’s character most on each fables, ranked Paman Belalang dan Perahunya and Landak yang Kesepian on top ratings, while Kelinci Sang Penakluk on the lowest ratings.
