PENERAPAN METODE BERMAIN PERAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERBICARA SISWA KELAS IX.3 SMP NEGERI 2 DENPASAR TAHUN 2012/2013

Salah satu upaya yang bisa dilakukan oleh guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa adalah dengan melakukan inovasi pembelajaran. Metode bermain peran  merupakan metode simulasi bermain peran secara berkelompok untuk melatih siswa berkomunikasi dalam bentuk peragaan peristiwa secara bergiliran yang dilaksanakan di dalam kelas atau di luar kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas  dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas IX.3 SMP Negeri 2 Denpasar sebanyak 42 orang, dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Dengan prosedur penelitian dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa siklus I nilai rata-rata kelas 77,97 dengan ketuntasan kelas sebesar 66,66% meningkat menjadi nialai rata-rata 83,35 dengan ketuntasan 100% pada siklus II. Terjadi  peningkatan sebesar 33,34%. Kualitas pembelajaran pada siklus I sebesar 78,57 dengan kualitas sedang meningkat menjadi 84,16 pada siklus II termasuk kualitas tinggi.

ABSTRACT

One of the efforts that the Indonesian teacher does to incraese the ability of the studens to speak is by doing the innovation in teaching and learning process. The role playing method was used get the students to communicate in the form of performing the events. They would take turns to perform  in or out the classroom. The reseacher used a ents of Classroom Action Reseach. The subject was 42 students of IX.3 SMP N 2 Denpasar. It was done in two cycles. The first cycles showed the average of class score as 77,97 with the class completeness of 66,66 % and would increase to the average of 83,35 with the class completeness of 100 % in the second cycle with the increasing of 33,34%. The quality of learning in the first cycles was 78,57. It was adequate. The result would be 84,16 and in the second cycles, it was considered to be the high quality.
