KORELASI PENGUASAAN KALIMAT EFEKTIF DAN PERSEPSI SISWA TERHADAP CARA MENGAJAR GURU DENGAN KEMAMPUAN MENGEMBANGKAN PARAGRAF PADA SISWA KELAS XI SMA N 1 SIKUR
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Korelasi Penguasaan Kalimat Efektif dan Persepsi Siswa terhadap Cara Mengajar Guru dengan Kemampuan Mengembangkan Paragraf. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes dan kuesioner. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah teknik statistik regresi dan korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) penguasaan kalimat efektif diperoleh sebesar 18.73 dengan simpangan baku sebesar 1.743, dikatakan baik. (2) persepsi siswa terhadap cara mengajar guru, diperoleh sebesar 92,30, dengan simpangan baku sebesar 13.030, hasil ini menunjukkan cukup. (3) kemampuan mengembangkan paragraf diperoleh sebesar 72,88 dengan simpangan baku sebesar 9,961, hasil ini menunjukkan baik. (4) pengaruh penguasaan kalimat efektif dan persepsi siswa terhadap cara mengajar guru secara bersama-sama terhadap kemampuan mengembangkan paragraf terdapat korelasi yang signifikan dengan koefisien determinasi Ry(i,2,3)2 = (0,261)2 = 0,068 atau 6,8%. Berdasarkan analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada korelasi yang signifikan penguasaan kalimat efektif, dan persepsi siswa terhadap cara mengajar guru dengan kemampuan mengambangkan paragraf siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Sikur. Kabupaten Lombok Timur Provinsi, Nusa Tenggara Barat.

This research aims at investigating the correlation between the mastery of effective sentence and students’ perception on the way of teacher teaching and the ability of developing paragraph. The data were collected by using tests and questionnaire. The data were analyzed using regression and correlation statistic technique. The result of the research shows that: (1) the mean score of the mastery of effective sentence is 18.73 with the standard deviation of 1.743, which is considered as good, (2) the mean score of 92,30 with the standard deviation of 13.030, which is considered as adequate, (3) the mean score of the ability of developing paragraph is 72.88 with the standard deviation of 9,961 which is considered as good, (4) there is a correlation of the mastery of effective sentence and students’ perception on the way of teacher teaching simultaneously on the ability of developing paragraph with determination coefficient Ry(1,2,3)2 = (0.261)2 = 0.068 or 6.8%. based on those analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant correlation between the mastery of effective sentence and students’ perception on the way of teacher teaching and the ability of developing paragraph of eleventh grade students of SMAN 1 Sikur, East Lombok regency, Nusa tenggara Barat.
