PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI BERMUATAN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DENGAN SETTING GUIDED INQUIRY UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KARAKTER DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA SMP
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran biologi kelas IX yang valid, praktis, dan efektif meningkatkan karakter dan hasil belajar siswa. Pengembangan dilakukan dengan menggunakan model 4-D yang terdiri dari: define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Pengembangan hanya dilakukan pada tahap develop. Rancangan awal draft divalidasi oleh ahli dan praktisi, kemudian dianalisis, direvisi dihasilkan draft II, selanjutnya dilakukan uji kelas di SMP Negeri 1 Kuta kelas IXB berjumlah 32 siswa. Data dikumpulkan dengan tes, angket, lembar observasi, dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian: (1) validitas buku siswa 3,57 dan buku pegangan guru 3,59 kategori sangat valid. (2) Keterlaksanaan perangkat pembelajaran 3,56, respon guru 3,66, dan respon siswa 3,53 dengan kategori sangat praktis. (3) Keefektivan perangkat dengan nilai rata-rata pemahaman konsep pre tes 49,31, post tes I 84,66 dan post tes II 89,94, kategori baik, nilai kinerja ilmiah rata-rata 80,86 kategori baik dan nilai perkembangan karakter siswa mengalami peningkatan dari awal 1,90, siklus I 2,82 dan II 3,62 dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan temuan hasil penelitian disimpulkan perangkat pembelajaran memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif meningkatkan karakter dan hasil belajar siswa, sehingga dapat digunakan dalam lingkup lebih luas.

This research is aimed to produce learning device of biology in IX grade that meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness, to improve student learning outcomes, and character.The development is done using the 4-D model that consists of: defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The development is only applied on the stage of development. The initial draft is validated by experts and practitioners, then analyzed and the resulting refised draft II, then performed a class test at SMP Negeri 1 Kuta in IXB grade, totaling 32 children. The data is collected by test, queistionnaire, observation shett and to analysed with descriptive statisitc. The research results: (1) the validity of the student book 3,57, and the teacher handbook 3.59 the category of valid. (2) The value of implementation of the device of learning is 3,56, the value of teachers response is 3,66, and students response is 3.53 the category is very practice. (3) The effectiveness of the device with the average value of understanding concept of pre test is 49,31, the post test I is 84,66, and of the post test II is 89,94, the category of good, the everage value of the scientific performance is 80,86, the category of good, and the value of the character development of students increase from initial is 1,90, cycle I is 2,82, and cycle II is 3,62 with category very good. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the device of learning is valid, practical and effective to increase character and the results of student learning an undergoes, so it can be used in wider scope.
