PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN INKUIRI BEBAS BERMUATAN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER TERHADAP KONSEP DIRI DAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP IPA SISWA SMP
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan konsep diri dan pemahaman konsep antara siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri bebas bermuatan pendidikan karakter dengan siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran langsung. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, maka dilaksanakan penelitian eksperimen dengan populasi penelitian siswa kelas VIII semester genap di SMP Harapan Nusantara Denpasar tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Rancangan penelitian ini mengikuti rancangan eksperimen pretest posttest control group design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII B1 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan VIII B2 sebagai kelompok kontrol. Pengambilan kelas penelitian berdasarkan teknik random sampling. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan uji Manova. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan diperoleh temuan: 1).Terdapat perbedaan konsep diri dan pemahaman konsep IPA antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri bebas bermuatan pendidikan karakter dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran langsung (F= 162,2; p<0,05), 2).Terdapat perbedaan konsep diri antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri bebas bermuatan pendidikan karakter dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan Model pembelajaran langsung (F= 38,900; p<0,05), 3).Terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep IPA antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri bebas bermuatan pendidikan karakter dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran langsung (F= 268,721; p<0,05).

To achieve these objectives, the research carried out experiments to study population second semester of eighth grade in SMP Harapan Nusantara Denpasar academic year 2013/2014.
